The Director of Medical Services will be an inspiring leader and knowledgeable clinician with a deep commitment to sexual and reproductive freedom and social justice. The Director of Medical Services will partner with a dynamic Clinical Support Team (CST) that provides frontline healthcare at our health centers across CT and RI, providing over 100,000 visits to patients annually.
In collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), the Director of Medical Services works closely with CST members and other Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) departments to ensure that our health centers provide person-centered, high-quality care that complies with Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), federal, state, and local requirements. The Director of Medical Services plans, writes policies for, and coordinates and evaluates health care services at PPSNE.
This position supervises the Lead Clinicians, the Orchard Lab Manager, and the Clinical and Research Coordinator. The Director of Medical Services reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer and is a vital member of the Clinical Support Team.
