What we’re looking for:  

The Director of Integrated Marketing, Business Banking will own and lead our marketing strategy and GTM for Monzo Business, focusing on micro and small businesses across the UK and new European markets. You’ll define the vision, set the strategy, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver marketing programmes that fuel acquisition, engagement, and retention of business customers.

This is a senior leadership role that requires both strategic vision and operational excellence, combining data-driven decision making with creativity and empathy for the needs of small business owners.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and own the integrated marketing strategy for Business Banking, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and market expansion goals.
  • Drive acquisition, adoption, and retention campaigns for micro and small business customers, in the UK and internationally.
  • Work with Sales to ensure new lead generation tactics are performing, and develop strategies to grow and win new business.
  • Oversee the portfolio of marketing programmes across channels, ensuring cohesion, creativity, and measurable impact.
  • Partner with product, growth, and finance teams to allocate budget and channel capacity effectively, maximising ROI.
  • Act as a senior thought partner to leadership, providing strategic updates, market insights, and recommendations.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams across marketing centres of excellence.
  • Champion business customer insights, ensuring campaigns reflect the realities, challenges, and ambitions of small business owners.
  • Lead the measurement and reporting of business marketing performance, communicating progress to senior leadership.

In this role, you will bring: 

  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to shape and execute a marketing vision that drives measurable growth and long-term value for Monzo Business.
  • B2B Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of SMB/micro-business marketing, from acquisition funnels and lifecycle journeys to account-based and content-led strategies.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to link marketing activity to commercial outcomes - pipeline growth, customer LTV, and profitability.
  • Integrated Campaign Mastery: Proven record in designing and leading multi-channel B2B campaigns (digital, social, events, partnerships) that resonate with small business owners.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Skilled at aligning product, growth, and marketing teams, and managing senior stakeholders to deliver business results.
  • Data-Driven Optimisation: Expertise in performance measurement, using analytics and insight to optimise campaigns and marketing portfolios.

  • Are skilled at balancing creativity with commercial rigour.
  • Communicate clearly and influence effectively at all levels.

The Interview Process:

Our interview process involves three main stages:

  2. Initial Call (30mins)
  3. Case Study Review Call (45mins)
  4. Behavioural Interview (45mins)

Our average process takes around 3-4 weeks but we will always work around your availability.

💰Salary is ÂŁ112,000 - ÂŁ132,000 ➕ stock options 

📍This role will be based out of our London office next to Liverpool Street station in a hybrid approach of office based and home working
