2. Role Summary / Purpose

The Director of Hotel Intelligence, Americas is responsible for driving business growth by leveraging data and industry relationships. This position is responsible for leading the development and promotion of P&L benchmarking analytics, using data to enhance all aspects of business development across the Americas region. As a HotStats Subject Matter Expert, you will provide critical insights and analysis that directly impact strategic decisions for our clients and the company. 

3. Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and follow up on new sales leads to build a robust and qualified sales pipeline.
  • Manage the entire pipeline process, from initial contact and qualification through to deal closure.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and handle client objections to successfully close new business deals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client data in the CRM system.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling, value-driven sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential and existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain expertise on product capabilities, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Create and deliver key knowledge and learning content to enable internal teams and external partners
  • Participate in industry conferences and events to represent Duetto and drive lead generation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partners on GTM plays to increase qualified pipeline and close-rates.
  • Provide product feedback to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams, identifying opportunities to improve GTM strategy and processes.
  • Perform other related duties as needed to support team and company priorities.

4. Qualifications

Required:

  • 6+ years of go-to-market experience, specifically in sales or sales engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of the hotel industry, including operational best practices and market trends.

Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills, with a proven track record of effectively negotiating with key stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 30%), including international trips.

Preferred:

  • Specialized skills, knowledge, or experience within the Hospitality technology industry, specifically revenue management.
  • Knowledge of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI).
  • Prior experience working directly with organizational leaders and executive teams.
  • Proven track record of success in a high-pressure, sales-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese
