Job Description:

Cambria has an excellent opportunity for a motivated, organized sales professional seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment. The Director of Healthcare will be positioned as the expert and leader in driving success in the segment nationally.  The primary responsibility of this position is demand creation through standards and national specifications with a focused target list of healthcare organizations.   In addition, establishing strong relationships with influential industry professionals to further develop and position Cambria in the Healthcare industry segment. This role, which is positioned within Commercial Sales, will collaborate with field sales with the goal to drive and fulfill specifications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Sell Cambria by securing specifications and standards at the national and regional level. 

  • Build and cultivate solid relationships with end-users/ownership groups and national accounts that influence specifications

  • Work with VP, Commercial Sales and Field Sales to refine national strategy and plan 

  • Research and profile key prospect lists and cultivate professional selling relationships including but not limited to: Healthcare organizations and facility managers, OEM’s

  • Identify the needs of the segment and how to support key channel players appropriately

  • Provide samples and marketing tools for specific projects or partners 

  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) on Healthcare segment for local Field Sales teams

  • Be available to meet with customers daily, including over meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or at events (i.e. Cambria or industry-sponsored or sporting), sometimes outside normal business hours

Sell Cambria through a continual organized and professional presence in the market

  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of activities within CRM system  daily in order to keep all internal parties informed

  • Collaborate with inside sales (Nerve Center) on lead origination and management for their segment

  • Keep local Field Sales teams apprised of national standards and specifications that have been achieved

  • Identify and participate in appropriate trade shows to increase brand recognition

  • Maintain and submit expense receipts daily; submit completed expense reports monthly

Sell Cambria by educating on and representing the brand and product

  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the industry including but not limited to market size, sub-segments, selling process, competition, trends, appropriate certifications, regulatory forces and issues 

  • Be the subject matter expert in strategic account cultivation; collaborate, guide, and support Field Sales teams to enable sales growth within the segment

  • Present product knowledge materials and effectively educate on product attributes and differentiators

  • Help them understand the value, quality and history of the brand

  • Understand all sales and marketing programs and materials so you can present them to the customers. Drive development of new materials for this segment

  • Proactively be an expert in industry standards and regulatory codes, including LEED and Green issues

  • Maintain a high-level of business, financial and industry expertise so you can advise partners effectively in ways that benefit both their business and Cambria

  • Conduct quality AIA (American Institute of Architects) and IDCEC (Interior Design Continuing Education Council) continuing education seminars

  • Become actively involved in industry associations and identify/participate in national Healthcare design trade shows to increasing brand awareness and networking

  • Actively use all social media channels Cambria participates in to promote the brand and product 


 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in the architectural and design industry

  • Previous B to B Sales experience in Healthcare design, sales, or specification is required

  • Strong sales skills with a proven track record of being customer-focused and ability to close business

  • Strong business knowledge 

  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational and timely follow up skills that reflects in calendar management and CRM updates

  • Ability to build strong professional relationships with internal and external parties

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Influential skills to gain support and inspire others

  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated with the ability to work independently from home office

  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and fiscal responsibility

  • Ability to work extended and varying hours as needed

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in Healthcare industry sales, specifications, and/or design required, sales management preferred

Systems: Google Suites, Microsoft Suites and Salesforce

Additional Requirements:

Managerial Responsibilities: N/A

Travel Requirements: This position will require up to 80% travel across the US and Canada for events like meetings, trade shows, and training. Must have the ability to work extended hours, evenings, overnights and weekends. Must hold a valid Driver’s License and have the ability to travel internationally.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to deliver samples and trade show materials.
