As the Director of Engineering, you will provide strategic, technical, and people leadership for all engineering functions supporting Ultra Pure Water (UPW) and Waste/Reclaim Water systems for semiconductor manufacturing. You will drive engineering execution excellence, establish standards, build scalable teams, and partner across the business to deliver high‑quality, compliant solutions for our customers.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and oversee all engineering disciplines including systems, process, design, automation, and project engineering
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards, design practices, calculations, and review processes specific to UPW systems in partnership with global teams
  • Ensure engineering deliverables meet customer specifications, industry codes, and quality requirements
  • Align engineering execution strategies with project schedules, cost targets, and business objectives
  • Manage engineering capacity planning, resource allocation, and workload balancing across multiple projects
  • Directly manage Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders while building a scalable, high‑performing organization
  • Coach and develop engineers and managers through performance management, career development, and succession planning
  • Partner with Project Management to mitigate technical risk, define scope, and support change management
  • Support proposals and business development through technical strategy, execution planning, and risk assessment
  • Serve as the final escalation point for complex technical or execution challenges

Position Details

  • Location: Plano, TX
  • Work Environment: Full‑time, in‑office
  • Travel: Up to 10%, typically one week at a time

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline)
  • At least 10 years of engineering experience supporting ultra pure water, wastewater, and reclaim water systems for semiconductor manufacturing
  • At least 5 years of experience managing engineers and/or engineering managers
  • Experience delivering complex industrial or semiconductor facility projects
  • Strong understanding of engineering execution, cost drivers, and project lifecycle impacts
  • Ability to lead effectively in a multi‑disciplinary, multi‑project environment
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working closely with fabrication shops and construction teams
  • Exposure to executive‑level reporting and strategic planning
  • Experience supporting organizational growth, team scaling, and capability development

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $160,000-$180,000. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
