POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Lehigh Valley seeks a Director of Athletics and Recreation to provide leadership for the campus intercollegiate athletics, club sports, and recreation and wellness programs. The Director oversees all aspects of the athletics and recreation program and serves as a member of the Student Affairs leadership team, reporting to the Director of Student Affairs.
Penn State Lehigh Valley is a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) and supports varsity athletics within a predominantly commuter campus environment. Penn State Lehigh Valley currently sponsors six varsity sports, with plans to expand its athletic offerings over time.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.Penn State does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of a staff employment Visa. SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $68,200.00 - $102,300.00.
