Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team of Account Executives responsible for driving revenue growth by closing new business and maximizing contract utilization across non-healthcare Business and Hospitality territories. You will provide strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to ensure strong pipeline development, same-store growth, and deep client engagement. You will represent Vizient and Provista service offerings, partner with internal and external leaders, and guide your team in delivering measurable value aligned with clients’ strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Account Executives supporting non-healthcare and Hospitality client relationships.
Drive revenue growth by new business development, increasing contract utilization and penetration across assigned non-healthcare territories.
Oversee team efforts to develop relationships, identify growth opportunities, and achieve same-store growth targets.
Educate clients on contracting opportunities across Vizient’s comprehensive portfolio of products and services.
Coach and mentor team members on selling, implementing, and optimizing contracts and solutions that deliver value.
Support routine business reviews to communicate delivered value and uncover additional opportunities aligned to client goals.
Ensure accurate and timely account data management and reporting within Salesforce.
Communicate competitive threats, market dynamics, and client risks to appropriate internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal and external executives to identify opportunities for new or expanded product and service offerings.
Coach team members in building and maintaining effective relationships with Vizient suppliers and distributors.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
7 or more years of relevant experience required.
Prior people leadership experience with demonstrated ability to coach and develop high-performing sales or account management teams.
Proven success driving revenue growth, contract utilization, and client retention in a non-acute or services-based environment.
Strong strategic thinking, relationship management, and executive communication skills.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, and executive leadership.
Proficiency using CRM systems, including Salesforce, to manage pipelines and account performance.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
