The Director of OEM Major Mobile Accounts will own account strategy, revenue, and executive relationships for Micron’s engagement with our large mobile customer as single point of accountability across all Micron Business Units, orchestrating technical resources, and driving multi-year design wins worth billions in revenue. The role is instrumental in driving revenue performance and customer engagement!

You will have strong value selling capability and sufficient technical proficiency to engage credibly yet rely on Technical Solutions Sales and Customer Engineers for deep technical engagement. 

Role and Responsibilities:

Account Ownership & Strategy 

  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategy across all Micron Business Units 
  • Own total account revenue, margin, and design win pipeline 
  • Serve as single point of contact and escalation for customer across Micron 
  • Coordinate across BUs to resolve issues, prioritize resources, and present unified Micron strategy 

Executive Relationships 

  • Build and maintain C-suite relationships with customer executives 
  • Position Micron as strategic partner through value selling passionate about business outcomes 
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with customer leadership demonstrating Micron's impact on customer's business metrics (TCO, time-to-market, performance leadership) 

Technical Orchestration 

  • Deploy Technical Solutions Sales (L4) to engage during customer architecture and design phases 
  • Ensure Micron technical resources engage 12-18 months before revenue during early architecture discussions 
  • Translate customer technical requirements into internal Micron roadmap alignment discussions 
  • Drive build win qualification and competitive displacement strategies 

Commercial Excellence 

  • Lead sophisticated, multi-year supply agreement negotiations (LTAs, capacity commitments, pricing) 
  • Drive quarterly (or determined cadence) pricing negotiations to ensure Micron advantaged pricing positions 
  • Develop business cases and return on investment frameworks demonstrating Micron's value beyond price per gigabyte 
  • Manage forecast accuracy and revenue delivery across all products within account 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 12+ years in B2B technology sales with demonstrated success leading $1B+ strategic accounts 
  • Semiconductor industry experience or comparable complex technology selling (infrastructure, cloud hardware, AI systems) 
  • Proven track record of C-suite relationship building and executive-level business value articulation Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes at Fortune 100 companies 
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across internal organizations and resolve cross-functional conflicts 
  • Deep understanding of customer's business model, competitive dynamics, and technology strategy 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Memory and Storage sales experience (but not limited to DRAM, HBM, SSD)

 

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$159,600.00 - $331,100.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
