Director, MSP's International

Amsterdam, Netherlands Full Time

As the Director/RVP of MSP International, you will own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and performance of Rubrik’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) channel across all International markets. This is a critical leadership role responsible for scaling a profitable, high-growth, and strategic ecosystem of partners who deliver Zero Trust Data Security as a Service to their customers.

You will be expected to balance high-level strategy with hands-on team building and complex deal engagement, acting as a force multiplier for Rubrik’s expansion.

Key Responsibilities & Leadership

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • International Strategy: Define, align, and execute the multi-year international MSP strategy, translating global objectives into region-specific Go-To-Market (GTM) plans for EMEA
  • P&L & Forecasting: Assume ownership of the channel revenue P&L for the International MSP segment, delivering accurate forecasting, pipeline generation, and predictable ARR growth across all managed partners.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the recruitment, enablement, and performance management of the territory’s most strategic MSPs and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the voice of the International MSP business to internal executive stakeholders (Product, Finance, Legal, Marketing), driving necessary change and resource allocation.

2. People & Team Management

  • Team Building: Directly manage, mentor, and coach a team of high-performing MSP Account Executives (AEs) 
  • Coaching and Development: Establish high-standards for channel business planning, relationship management, and complex partner negotiations, ensuring the team is operating at an M9/Director caliber.
  • Talent Acquisition: Play a lead role in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding future team members to support the required scale and coverage model.

3. Executive Engagement & Deal Support

  • Executive Relationships: Cultivate deep, strategic relationships with C-level executives (CEO, CTO, Head of Channels) at our key international partner organizations.
  • Complex Negotiations: Lead and structure large, multi-regional partner agreements, ensuring optimal commercial terms and alignment with Rubrik’s long-term objectives.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Executive Leadership Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Enterprise Software or Cloud Sales, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership position directly managing sales or channel teams.
  • Channel Expertise: Deep, verifiable experience and success in scaling an indirect channel business, specifically focused on Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or service providers in the Data Protection/Security sector.
  • International Scope: Proven experience managing teams and revenue targets across diverse, multi-cultural international territories, specifically EMEA
  • Financial Acumen: Strong commercial negotiation skills and the ability to articulate complex financial models (e.g., consumption-based pricing, recurring revenue structures) to executive audiences.
  • Technical Domain: Advanced understanding of Zero Trust principles, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), data management, and the competitive landscape for data resilience/cybersecurity.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to present and command presence in executive forums, coupled with strong cross-functional influencing skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
