The pay range is $135,000.00 - $243,000.00

Within the Loyalty team, you will lead enterprise strategy for Target Circle promotional events and priority audience plans, driving measurable guest and business impact. This role sits at the center of enterprise collaboration — connecting Marketing, Merchandising, Digital and Experience teams to deliver integrated, guest-centric activations that advance both program and enterprise goals. 

The Director, Member Experiences & Offers is responsible for shaping how Target loyalty members experience and engage with our loyalty program through exclusive offers, events, and differentiated member moments. This role owns the strategy and execution of member-exclusive value events—including loyalty-gated sales, early access opportunities, and exclusive merchandise moments—and leads the strategy for how loyalty is presented and experienced across Target’s digital and physical channels.

This leader will partner closely with UX, Product, Site Merchandising, Stores, and Marketing to ensure the loyalty program is compelling, discoverable, and integrated seamlessly into the guest journey—creating clear reasons for members to engage more often and deepen their relationship with Target.

Member-Exclusive Offers & Events - Own the strategy and execution of member-exclusive offers, sales and events that create differentiated value for loyalty members.

  • Develop and manage loyalty-exclusive sales events (e.g., Circle Deal Days)

  • Create early access opportunities for sales and merchandise launches

  • Develop member-exclusive product and promotional moments

  • Build a calendar of high-impact member engagement moments across the year

  • Partner with merchants and category teams to align exclusive value moments to business priorities

Loyalty Experience Strategy (Digital + Store) - Define how loyalty shows up across Target’s guest ecosystem and how members engage with it.

  • Partner with UX/UI to shape the loyalty experience across app, site, and store

  • Partner with Site Merchandising to improve loyalty visibility, discoverability, and engagement

  • Influence how loyalty benefits, offers, and status are presented to members

  • Improve the ease and clarity of loyalty engagement throughout the shopping journey

  • Ensure loyalty experiences feel cohesive across channels

Member Engagement Optimization - Continuously improve member interaction with loyalty offers and experiences.

  • Analyze engagement with loyalty-exclusive moments and experiences

  • Identify opportunities to improve member participation and awareness

  • Partner with analytics and experimentation teams to test and optimize engagement strategies

  • Improve member understanding of loyalty value

About you

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 10-12+ years of experience in loyalty, pricing, promotions, strategy, consulting, or related fields

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen demonstrated by the ability to translate and drive strategies forward that are consistent with enterprise and guest goals

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage project deadlines and competing priorities effectively

  • Proven team leadership skills that showcase the ability to direct and coach a team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and varying levels in the organization

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
