Job Summary:
Directs the development of market requirements for our LPO and NPO Datacenter products (DirectEdge), including go-to market (GTM), product strategy definition and development priorities, requirements analysis, and pricing.
Responsibilities:
Revenue and market share ownership. Drive GTM Strategy and Sales teams to maximize Semtech’s share for our LPO/NPO portfolio.
Drive LPO/NPO Market Strategy – prioritize opportunities/challenges, develop strategies to overcome or take advantage of, develop/drive action plans to fulfill.
Interprets, communicates, and targets customer feedback and development strategy to engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance market share and overall business return.
Develops, manages and owns long term product roadmaps for LPO/NPO to deliver a compelling return on investment for the company.
Monitors and steers the development of business plans, assesses market penetration, competitor status and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share.
Ownership of NPI programs as/when needed to advance the business.
Oversees internal and external resources for market research, monitors competitive activity, and translates this into customer needs.
Supports on any IP or export compliance issues related to Datacenter products.
Provide leadership to manage a team of PLMs to drive successful business outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in semiconductor engineering
Excellent collaboration, influencing, team-work, and team-building skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Detailed knowledge and experience in markets requiring signal integrity expertise.
Desired Qualifications
5+ years experience in a Marketing / Product Line Manager role.
5+ years experience with Datacom / Datacenter / AI connectivity products
