Micron is looking for a Director – IP development group in India to be a part of a team targeting critical IP circuits development for all DRAM related memory products. In this position, you will be responsible for leading IP circuit design, verification, layout, and cell characterization groups in India. Use of both analog and digital CMOS design skills needed to guide the team to work on the various analog and digital IP circuits. Also, responsible for working with Product Engineering to verify silicon performance vs simulation performance of circuits you design. Some of the circuits we target are I/O's, voltage regulators, generators, amplifiers, oscillators, pumps, translators, fuse array, DLL and standard control logic. Will also work with Process integration and transistor modeling personnel in designing the circuits to be used on Micron's next leading-edge process node. 

Successful candidates for this position will have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 15+ years of experience

• Strong background in leading big circuit design, verification and layout teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other design peers both verbally and written
• Both analog and digital design and simulation experience required
• Experience with circuit verification and optimization including layout verification and parasitic extractions of the circuits
• DRAM circuit design experience is preferred
• DRAM array knowledge is preferred
• Understanding of device physics and basic CMOS processing techniques preferred
• Proficiency with UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction)
• Actively mentor and enable teams to explore and effectively use AI tools in day-to-day tasks
• Contributing to cross group communication to work towards standardization and group success
• Highly motivated and self-starter
• Driving innovation into the future Memory circuits within a dynamic work environment
• A mindset and passion for continuous learning, innovation, success, and enabling others to do the same
