So, what’s the role all about? 

As the Technical Director, you provide end‑to‑end technical, delivery, and strategic leadership across the full lifecycle of Actimize solution implementations.
You own the regional technical strategy, ensure excellence in delivery governance, and lead multi‑disciplinary technical teams to consistently achieve high‑quality outcomes.

Your remit extends beyond project execution into innovation leadership, methodology stewardship, capability building, risk governance, and executive‑level client engagement.

 

How will you make an impact?  

Technical & Delivery Leadership

  • Provide executive‑level oversight for all technical implementations in your region, ensuring they meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
  • Own technical governance frameworks, risk management, architectural alignment, and escalations.
  • Lead major and strategic programs directly where necessary.
  1. Strategic Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the senior technical authority in executive conversations with clients.
  • Align Actimize technology to client operating models, data readiness, and compliance requirements.
  • Guide clients on technical strategy, platform evolution, and scalability.
  1. Leadership of Technical Teams & Capability Development
  • Lead and mentor technical managers, architects, and implementation leads.
  • Define the technical capability roadmap, including cloud, AI, integration, automation, and Actimize domain expertise.
  • Drive regional capacity planning and ensure optimal allocation of senior technical resources.
  1. Technical Training, Competency & Standards
  • Conduct structured skill gap analyses across engineering and implementation teams.
  • Define mandatory technical training plans and certification pathways across AML, Fraud, X‑Sight, integration, DevOps, and cloud.
  1. Technical Methodology Ownership & Optimization
  • Own and continuously refine technical delivery methodologies, templates, design standards, configuration practices, and QA processes.
  • Champion adoption of automation, testing accelerators, standardized integrations, and repeatable deployment playbooks.
  1. Innovation Leadership & Technology Evolution
  • Identify and drive adoption of emerging technologies that improve scalability, integration, monitoring, and delivery efficiency.
  • Partner with Product, R&D, Architecture, and Engineering to shape product roadmaps based on field insights.
  • Promote cloud‑native delivery, DevOps alignment, API‑driven frameworks, and modern deployment models.
  1. Cross‑Functional Executive Alignment
  • Act as the senior bridge across Sales, Pre‑Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success.
  • Ensure seamless lifecycle transitions from opportunity → scope → delivery → production.
  • Influence enterprise‑wide initiatives related to scalability, predictability, and operational excellence.
  1. Executive Pre‑Sales & Commercial Support
  • Lead feasibility assessments, technical due diligence, and solution validation for complex deals.
  • Govern effort estimations, delivery assumptions, technical risks, and architectural viability.
  • Participate in RFP/RFI responses, customer workshops, and executive solution reviews.Top of Form

  • Skilled at managing senior stakeholders, conflict resolution, and executive communication.

Strategic & Analytical Capability

  • Strong ability to evaluate complex delivery risks, design scalable frameworks, and drive operational transformation.
