General Summary:
The Director, IDI Quote & Case Facilitator teams, is accountable for IDI pre & post-sale activity and operations. This role requires strong ability to partner with Company sales teams, brokers, and all internal partners with the ability to continue to strategically drive change. Additionally, the incumbent will lead and influence others in the organization to support change. This role may also assist with the training and mentoring for all functions within the operations directly accountable for strongly and significantly influencing and improving, change management along with policies and practices.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ongoing accountability for customer satisfaction - review metrics and act on areas of concern
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, product development efforts, and lead departmental effectiveness initiatives
- Demonstrate a mastery of the Company’s products providing expertise and guidance
- Deliver dependable, accurate, and timely service while demonstrating deeper expertise to develop
- Monitor company policies, identify inefficiencies, and develop new operational procedures
- Foster a team environment to include ongoing cross-functional communication with IDI Operations teams to collectively work together to achieve a positive experience for all customers.
- Accountable for leading the organization through the demonstration of a broad decision making and proactive approach to business challenges facing the team and department.
- Evaluate and provide regular candid feedback to direct reports on performance and assist in creating meaningful performance plans that develop employees to their fullest potential.
- Provide ongoing training and informational updates as needed
- May perform other duties as assigned

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.
$89,900.00-$169,900.00
Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not. All benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of individual Plans.
