POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Human Resources Technology Operations is a strategic leader responsible for advancing the organization’s people data strategy and HR technology ecosystem. This role oversees HRIS operations, establishes and scales the HR shared services model, and leads People Resource analytics capabilities. The Director partners closely with the Enterprise Data & Analytics team to ensure alignment of data governance, predictive modeling, and advanced insights that drive workforce and business decisions.
This position is located in Appleton, WI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive PR technology and analytics roadmap aligned with organizational priorities and strategies.
- Serve as a key advisor to PR leadership on workforce trends, predictive insights, and technology innovations.
- Problem solver who can investigate an issue, find the cause, make necessary corrections and formulate/communicate new policies if necessary

HRIS & Shared Services Oversight:
- Oversees the administration, optimization, and governance of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG).
- Design and implement a centralized HR shared services model, including defining service delivery standards, processes, and technology enablement.
- Drive operational excellence through automation, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Own the design and delivery of dashboards, reports, and KPIs for PR and business leaders.
- Lead predictive analytics initiatives for workforce planning, retention, and talent optimization.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-making at all levels.
Enterprise Partnership:
- Collaborate with Enterprise Data & Analytics to align HR data strategy with organizational data architecture.
- Ensure consistency in data governance, integration, and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Champion cross-functional projects leveraging enterprise data for holistic business insights.
Compliance & Data Governance:
- Establish standards for data quality, privacy, and ethical use of PR data.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree – HR, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Expertise in HRIS platforms (Workday, UKG) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong knowledge of predictive analytics, workforce planning, and HR metrics.
- Proven ability to partner with enterprise data teams and influence across a matrixed organization
- Ability to transform data into actionable insights, using software programs, Excel, BI, SQL, DAX, or other ETL technology reporting tools
- Strong understanding of divisional processes/systems and a desire to find new ways to use technology to accomplish business objectives
- Above average scanning accuracy and attention to detail, with aptitude for identifying patterns and trends in data sets
Preferred:
- Master’s degree
- Experience establishing and scaling HR shared services models
- Familiarity with data science techniques and advanced analytics
