JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX is looking for a dynamic, business-minded Director of Human Resources to support our Fox One and Fox Finance organizations. This is a high-impact, highly visible role for someone who operates with both strategic clarity and a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
Reporting to the SVP, Human Resources, this leader will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, shaping people strategy, influencing organizational design, and driving initiatives that fuel performance, engagement, and growth. You’ll be expected to bring both perspective and execution: setting direction while also jumping in to make things happen.

We’re looking for someone with real presence, someone who brings credibility, sound judgment, and gravitas, and who can seamlessly flex their communication style to connect with a wide range of audiences, from executives to employees across the business.
This is an individual contributor role that sits at the center of the action, partnering closely with HR Centers of Excellence (Compensation, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Benefits, Learning & Development, and Legal). You’ll play a key role during moments of growth, change, and integration, helping the organization scale thoughtfully and effectively. This role is based onsite four days per week.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, shaping workforce plans, evolving team structures, and driving forward-thinking talent strategies
  • Lead from the front on employee experience—designing and delivering initiatives that strengthen engagement, performance, and culture
  • Own talent management cycles end-to-end in partnership with Compensation, ensuring rigor, alignment, and meaningful development outcomes
  • Experience in managing employee relations issues and conflict resolution
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Compensation to build smart, competitive hiring strategies and calibrated offers
  • Navigate complex employee relations matters with confidence, discretion, and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Stay close to the business; continuously assessing needs and translating them into practical, scalable HR solutions
  • Use data and insights to tell compelling stories, influence decisions, and continuously elevate how HR shows up

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within fast-moving, evolving, or high-growth environments
  • A strong track record of influencing and advising senior leaders through change, growth, and transformation
  • Deep expertise across the employee lifecycle, with the ability to turn strategy into action
  • A true player-coach mindset without the team—equally comfortable thinking big and diving into the details
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a natural ability to adapt your style and message to any audience
  • Executive presence and credibility—you lead with confidence, sound judgment, and impact
  • A data-driven approach, using insights to shape decisions and challenge thinking
  • Highly collaborative and agile, with the ability to navigate complexity and build alignment across stakeholders

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience in technology, streaming, or digital media environments
  • Familiarity with HR systems, tools, and people analytics
  • Exposure to organizational design, change management, or integration work
