A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Provides strategic leadership and oversight for all safety, health, and environmental programs across Blattner’s renewable energy EPC portfolio.
  • Serves as the primary HSE authority for contract, proposal, and safety exhibit reviews.
  • Ensures that safety is built into every system, process, and contract, embedding The Capacity Model, Human and Organizational Performance (HOP), and STKY (Stuff That Kills You) principles throughout operations.
  • Serves as the enterprise authority on HSE strategy, subcontractor safety management, and safety contract compliance, ensuring regulatory alignment and continuous learning across all projects.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
  • 10 or more years of progressive HSE experience with at least 7 years in leadership roles within renewable EPC or heavy civil construction. Demonstrated experience with HOP principles, The Capacity Model integration, and SIF prevention programs.
  • Ability to travel 25-40% of the time.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

  • CSP certification is strongly preferred; CHST, CSHO, or equivalent a plus.
  • Expertise in electrical safety (NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910/1926 Subpart K) and high-voltage construction strongly preferred.

$158,779.00 - $230,230.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
