Director, HR Technology
The Director of HR Technology leads a globally distributed HRIS team and owns Western Union’s HR technology ecosystem within a service‑oriented, employee‑first People function. This role is critical to enabling a rapidly evolving global organization by delivering scalable, secure, and data‑driven HR systems and processes.
In addition to operational excellence, this leader will play a critical role in reimagining simplified, global people processes and driving transformation toward a more scalable HR service delivery model. The Director will partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence—including Payroll, Employee Relations, HR Operations, Talent & Learning, and Talent Acquisition—to modernize how HR services are delivered, increase automation and self‑service, and improve the employee experience at scale.
The role also plays a key part in global M&A activity, ensuring HR systems, data, and processes are aligned and integrated efficiently during acquisitions.
Expertise in Workday is essential. Experience with ServiceNow and Greenhouse is strongly preferred, as these platforms are foundational to the HR technology ecosystem.

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $180,000 – 210,000 USD per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
