Director, Hospitality Revenue Management

The Director, Hospitality Revenue Management, reporting to the Vice President of Operations and Hospitality Asset Management, leads revenue strategy across the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation (YSMN) portfolio. Serves as a subject-matter expert and strategic business partner to the Office of Chief Gaming Officer, collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders to maximize enterprise-wide revenue performance.

This role is responsible for portfolio profit optimization, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are achieved across all hospitality business units. Responsibilities span the full revenue lifecycle including demand forecasting, pricing strategy, inventory optimization, digital distribution strategy, market analytics, and performance reporting. This includes rooms, suites, F&B, spa, retail, golf, entertainment-adjacent revenue, and all ancillary resort verticals. Leads the commercial strategy to maximize total asset value and ensure alignment with ownership objectives.

Success in this position requires deep expertise in hospitality revenue management, channel distribution, and revenue optimization strategies and tools. The Director must be able to translate complex data into actionable strategies that align commercial and operational teams, ensuring cohesive execution and sustained revenue growth across the portfolio.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Strategic Pricing & Optimization
Develops and implements portfolio revenue strategies, including setting rate strategies and managing portfolio inventory to maximize top-line revenue and long-term asset value. Oversees revenue strategy and performance for a multi-property portfolio of luxury branded and independent resorts. Ensures strategic alignment and daily execution across property teams, including sales, marketing, distribution, and operations.
2.    Budgeting & Forecasting Reporting
Leads the development of annual and long‑range portfolio-wide revenue budgets and forecasts, and pacing strategies, leveraging historical performance, market trends, and competitive behavior to produce accurate, actionable projections for ownership and leadership. Delivers enterprise level insights and executive briefings for ownership, including segmentation performance, forward-looking demand risk/opportunity analysis, and predictive modeling. 
3.    Ownership Reporting & Asset-Management Alignment
Produces and delivers portfolio-level performance reporting, integrating STR results, market trends, competitive benchmarking, demand pace, segmentation trends, and pricing recommendation. Partners with Asset Management leadership to align revenue strategy with asset-level financial goals, capital planning considerations, and long-term enterprise value creation. 
4.    Portfolio Revenue Management Systems
Establishes, implements, and continuously refines revenue management SOPs, analytical frameworks, and commercial processes across the portfolio to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand and ownership expectations. 
5.    Competitive Performance Monitoring
Leads weekly and monthly STR and market-share analysis to identify revenue penetration gaps and develop corrective pricing, mix, and channel strategies. Conducts deep-dive reviews of transient, group, promotional, and channel performance to identify margin optimization opportunities
6.    Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Make hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or STEM based studies is required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in hotel revenue management, including at least three (3) years in a multi-property, corporate, or cluster leadership capacity is required.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of supervisory experience required.
  • Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)

  • Experience managing revenue strategy for multiple hotels or serving as a corporate/cluster revenue manager in luxury, lifestyle, or resort properties is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue performance in environments with multiple ancillary revenue streams.
  • Advanced experience with major RMS, CRS, PMS, and BI tools (IDeaS, Duetto, Opera, SynXis, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience leading teams, guiding cross-functional commercial strategy, and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership, including cross-functional collaboration and ownership reporting.
  • Advanced analytical capability, including demand modeling, pricing elasticity analysis, segmentation performance evaluation, and channel profitability analysis. Ability to leverage BI tools and advanced Excel modeling to drive strategy.
  • Proven proficiency with multi-brand system environments, including RMS, CRS, PMS, channel managers, and distribution platforms (e.g., Opera, SynXis, Duetto, MARSHA, One Yield, TravelClick). Ability to maintain system accuracy and optimize configuration across brands.
  • Expertise in digital distribution ecosystems, including OTAs, GDS, wholesalers, brand.com, and metasearch
  • Skill in balancing long-term commercial strategy with rapid tactical adjustments to pricing, inventory, and channel tactics based on real-time market shifts
  • Knowledge of best practices for content accuracy, parity management, and rating integrity across all digital channels and global distribution systems.
  • Ability to build and lead a revenue management culture across the organization, training property teams, influencing cross-functional partners, and driving adoption of revenue strategies across commercial and operational departments.
  • Ability to present complex data, forecasts, and strategic recommendations clearly to senior leadership and ownership groups, influencing key commercial decisions.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and elevate revenue management talent; foster a revenue‑focused culture across departments and properties.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS

  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.
