Position Summary
The Director, Growth Strategy & Transformation serves as the senior strategic operator to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO). This role leads strategy orchestration, operating cadence, portfolio governance, and cross‑functional integration to accelerate new-business growth. You will lead initiatives spanning marketing, onboarding, revenue operations, pricing, underwriting, legal, and value-added services. It also drives digitization and automation across GTM workflows (Salesforce, Outreach.io, Highspot, Digital Sales Rooms), elevates decision quality through data, and builds alignment across internal and external stakeholders. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will deliver executive-level insights and presentations that influence decisions at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & OKRs: Shape annual and quarterly OKRs and integrated growth roadmaps across specialties and channels.
Operating Cadence & Governance: Lead the CGO operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, offsites, and communication forums with clear agendas and decision paths.
Program & Portfolio Management: Drive cross‑functional initiatives spanning Marketing, McKesson Technology/IT, Onboarding, Credit/Underwriting, Master Data, Pricing, Contracting, Legal, Revenue Operations, Sales, GPO, and Value‑Added Services.
Digital GTM Infrastructure: Advance adoption of Outreach.io, SFDC, Highspot, and Digital Sales Rooms; partner with functional leaders to strengthen automation and CRM discipline.
Onboarding & Pricing/Underwriting Workflow Stewardship: Oversee onboarding improvements and pricing/underwriting approval workflows to enhance customer experience and reduce cycle times.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships across partner functions; build and maintain stakeholder maps and communication plans.
Executive Narrative Development: Develop compelling, executive‑ready PowerPoint presentations and materials for leadership and board‑level forums.
Decision Support & KPI Dashboards: Build and manage scorecards that provide visibility into pipeline velocity, onboarding cycle time, pricing SLA adherence, and digital tool adoption.
Change Leadership: Lead communication and enablement efforts that accelerate adoption of new processes, workflows, and tools.
Talent & Culture: Support development of PMO analysts and champion a culture of inclusion, alignment, and high performance.
Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if candidate has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.
Critical Skills
10+ years in strategy, operations, transformation, or related leadership roles
Expertise with GTM enablement tools (SFDC, Outreach.io, Highspot)
Strong executive communication, influence, and relationship‑building skills
Proven ability to create high‑impact executive presentations
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare industry experience
MBA or advanced degree
Consulting background and/or agile program delivery experience
