Director, Growth Analytics

Position Summary

The Director, Growth Analytics will oversee the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of Commerce campaigns and measurement for a global CPG client. Success in this role requires a strong background in media analytics, with specific expertise in retail media, to establish standards, streamline workflows, and deliver flawless execution at scale.

The right candidate is highly proactive, detail-driven, and skilled at bringing clarity to complex initiatives, especially when working with non-technical stakeholders. They should possess a deep understanding of Commerce/Retail, ad tech, and campaign performance measurement requirements. This leader will unify internal teams, external vendors/partners, and clients within a consistent operating framework. Mastery of ad tech platforms, strong analytical capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential to deliver scalable, revenue-driving RMN solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead retail measurement solution and implementation planning, working closely with internal and client teams, including engineering, product, analytics, and activation to stand up new data infrastructure, tagging frameworks, and ad tech integrations. 
  • Translate complex measurement and data architecture concepts into clear, actionable frameworks for non-technical stakeholders. 
    • Guide measurement and reporting strategies to maximize RMN effectiveness.
    • Use data from ad servers, DSPs, and analytics platforms to optimize campaigns against KPIs, with a focus on ROAS.
    • Produce recurring performance reports, post-campaign analysis, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
    • Recommend data-driven optimizations and run A/B tests on creative, placements, and audience strategies to enhance overall network effectiveness.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years in integrated planning role in media, publisher / vendor, or communications discipline (digital, content); 5+ years of management experience ideal
  • Strong experience with Commerce / Retail platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing technologies, including DCM, Sizmek, Google Analytics, IAS, etc.
  • Knowledge of Tableau & SharePoint or any other dashboard & data visualization tools
  • Ability to work successfully within a team, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of Python, R, or any other advanced analytics software package a plus
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts at varying levels (from superficial to detailed) to suit the audience.
  • Ability to proactively drive the business forward (i.e. being able to take the initiative rather than rely on direction)
  • Ability to delegate and oversee direct reports.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proven problem-solving ability.

Salary Range
$145,000$165,000 USD
