How Will You Make An Impact?

The Director of Global Employee Investigations is a strategic and hands-on HR leader responsible for leading and overseeing complex, high-risk employee relations investigations across Jabil. This role serves as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and Legal, ensuring investigations are conducted in a fair, consistent, and legally compliant manner. The Director sets enterprise standards for investigative practices, drives continuous improvement in employee relations processes, and reinforces a culture of integrity, accountability, and respect.

Location:

This role will be based on-site at our St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Headquarters. Relocation assistance available.

This position will also involve up to roughly 10% (or less) travel to various manufacturing sites (mainly domestic), as needed.

What Will You Do?

  • Lead, conduct, and oversee complex, sensitive, and high-impact employee relations investigations, including allegations related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, ethics violations, workplace misconduct, and policy breaches.

  • Establish and maintain enterprise-wide investigation standards, protocols, and documentation requirements to ensure consistency and legal defensibility.

  • Provide expert guidance and coaching to HR Business Partners and regional ER teams on investigation strategy, evidence assessment, interview techniques, and outcome recommendations.

  • Ensure timely, thorough, and unbiased investigations with clear findings, conclusions, and recommended corrective actions.

  • Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Ethics, and Security teams to manage risk, support litigation readiness, and address systemic issues identified through investigations.

  • Analyze investigation trends, root causes, and outcomes to identify systemic risks and recommend proactive interventions.

  • Develop and implement enterprise employee relations strategies aligned with Jabil’s values, Code of Conduct, and business objectives.

  • Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure investigative practices and ER policies remain compliant.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex ER matters and advise senior leadership on risk-balanced decision-making.

  • Design and deliver training for HR and people leaders on conducting investigations, preventing workplace issues, and applying ER policies consistently.

  • Partner with HR leadership to strengthen manager capability, accountability, and employee trust through education and process improvements.

How Will You Get Here?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field required; Master’s degree or Juris Doctor strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, or employment law, including leadership of complex investigations in a large, multi-site organization.

  • Experience working in a global or matrixed environment preferred.

  • Direct experience with managing a team of people, preferably on a global scale.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Expert knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and applicable state laws.

  • Deep expertise in conducting and overseeing complex workplace investigations and applying investigative best practices.

  • Strong understanding of risk management, documentation standards, and litigation support.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex, ambiguous situations.

  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and ethical decision-making.

  • Executive-level communication and interviewing skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
