Position Title: Director, Franchise Leadership (R-137245)
Primary Job Location: US-GA-ATLANTA-AOC-OFFICE. Candidates must be currently located in or open to relocating to the Atlanta, Georgia area.
Travel: Up to 40% with an expectation to be in the office 3 days a week.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is required. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: 5-7 years of prior relevant experience

Position Overview:

The Director, Franchise Leadership serves as the senior franchise leader for Coca‑Cola’s flagship and most visible market, Atlanta, with full accountability for driving system alignment, execution excellence, and growth across Coca-Cola Bottling United’s East Region. This role is highly strategic and externally facing, operating at the intersection of brand leadership, bottler partnership, commercial execution, and enterprise influence.

As the steward of Coca‑Cola’s hometown market, this leader represents the Company with customers, bottlers, civic leaders, community partners, and internal stakeholders, ensuring Atlanta sets the standard for how the Coca‑Cola system operates, innovates, and wins. The role balances hands‑on operational leadership with long‑term strategic vision, translating enterprise priorities into flawless marketplace execution.

What You'll Need

Key Responsibilities:

Franchise & Bottler Leadership:

  • Serve as the franchise leader for the United East Region, aligning Coca‑Cola, the bottler, and customers around shared growth priorities 

  • Energize and enable bottling partners through clear direction, strong governance, and disciplined execution 

  • Build trusted, high‑impact relationships across the bottler Region, Division, Sales Center, and Channel levels 

  • Act as a strategic advisor to bottler leadership, supporting volume, revenue, profitability, and executional excellence 

Market Execution & Operations:

  • Own end‑to‑end market execution across channels, ensuring national strategies are translated into local success 

  • Drive excellence across sales, merchandising, innovation launches, customer activation, and operational readiness 

  • Monitor and manage volume, revenue, gross profit, transaction incidence, and share performance 

  • Identify execution gaps, root causes, and corrective actions to improve marketplace results 

  • Ensure alignment across marketing, shopper, supply chain, finance, and operations teams 

Strategic Planning & Growth Agenda:

  • Lead development and activation of the East Region business plan, aligned with NAOU, United, and TCCC priorities 

  • Translate national and regional strategies into market‑specific plans that deliver sustainable growth 

  • Champion portfolio transformation, including sparkling, stills, hydration, and other key categories 

  • Identify white‑space opportunities and pilot initiatives that can scale across the system 

Brand, Marketing & Customer Leadership:

  • Serve as the market steward for Coca‑Cola’s brands, ensuring flawless brand execution and relevance 

  • Partner with marketing and PACS to activate brand strategies, innovation, and campaigns in market 

  • Lead customer‑centric strategies that strengthen relationships with key on‑premise and off‑premise customers 

  • Ensure the Region, and specifically Atlanta, consistently reflects Coca‑Cola’s highest standards of brand presence and execution 

Community, PAC & External Engagement:

  • Act as a visible leader in the Atlanta community, partnering closely with Public Affairs and Communications (PACS) 

  • Support corporate reputation, sustainability, and social impact priorities in the hometown market 

  • Ensure internal and external engagement aligns with Coca‑Cola’s values and long‑term commitments 

People & Organizational Leadership:

  • Be a Role Model for our high‑performing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement 

  • Build strong cross‑functional partnerships across Coca‑Cola system stakeholders 

  • Share best practices, elevate talent, and contribute to enterprise capability building

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
