The Director, FP&A leads the Corporate Social Responsibility business unit’s financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting processes in support of Bonterra’s strategic and operational objectives. This role is responsible for designing and administering scalable, repeatable budgeting and forecasting cycles, delivering actionable financial insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role functions as a finance business partner to the GM and functional leaders of the business unit.
Operating in an AI-first environment, the Director leverages advanced analytics, automation tools, and AI-enabled forecasting and reporting solutions to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and business insight. The role partners closely with senior leadership to translate financial and operational performance into forward-looking recommendations that drive accountability, growth, and disciplined resource allocation in a SaaS operating model.
Essential Functions
Lead the annual operating plan process and quarterly reforecast cycles by establishing timelines, coordinating cross-functional inputs, consolidating financial models, and presenting results to executive leadership and the Board.
Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly financial projections, including revenue, expense, cash flow, and headcount forecasts, to support timely and accurate decision-making.
Administer enterprise financial reporting processes by preparing management dashboards, variance analyses, KPI reporting, and Board-ready materials on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and root causes, and present findings with clear recommendations to functional leaders.
Design, document, and continuously improve scalable FP&A processes, systems, and controls to support a growing SaaS organization.
Partner with Sales and Sales Operations to analyze bookings performance, pipeline trends, revenue forecasts, and sales productivity metrics to inform strategic planning and compensation alignment.
Support internal and external financial reporting requirements by coordinating with Accounting to ensure alignment between forecasts, actuals, and US GAAP reporting.
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, including pricing changes, cost optimization, and investment scenarios.
Support mergers and acquisitions activities by conducting financial modeling, scenario analysis, due diligence support, and post-acquisition integration of financial and operational metrics.
Provide ad hoc analysis to executive leadership to evaluate risks, opportunities, and resource allocation decisions.
Lead, develop, and manage FP&A team members by setting performance expectations, reviewing work product, and ensuring high standards of analytical rigor and accuracy.
Present financial results and forward-looking projections to executive stakeholders, explaining key drivers, risks, and recommended actions.

Required Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in corporate FP&A or related financial planning roles within a SaaS or recurring revenue environment.
Experience leading or managing finance professionals, including setting goals, reviewing work, and developing team members.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis, including advanced Excel skills and executive-ready presentation development.
Solid understanding of financial statement analysis, corporate finance principles, and US GAAP fundamentals.
Experience preparing management and Board-level reporting packages.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and ensure data accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate financial results into business insights.
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of progressive FP&A experience
Experience supporting Sales and Go-To-Market organizations with bookings and revenue analytics.
Experience supporting M&A transactions, including financial modeling and post-acquisition integration.
Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and revenue recognition principles.
Experience with enterprise planning systems (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar) and BI/reporting tools.
CPA, CFA, MBA, or similar advanced credential.
