Director, Finance Integration & Capabilities (Championing the Future of Finance through Building Capabilities, Inspiring Change and Delivering Impact)
Location: Istanbul, Turkey
Reports To: Finance VP, Eurasia & Middle East
The Director, Finance Integration & Capabilities is responsible for championing the “Future of Finance” agenda for the Operating Unit by translating the vision into reality, connecting global fin strategy with local priorities, building critical finance capabilities elevating performance, sparking innovative thinking. The role plays a critical role in driving engagement and adoption of global finance initiatives, helping teams navigate change, and ensuring smooth transitions to future ways of working. The role also ensures understanding and maintenance of strong governance fundamentals across the Operating Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Future of Finance Transformation & Integration
- Act as a transformation leader and change agent, driving the adoption of the Global Future of Finance strategy within the Operating Unit.
- Translate global finance strategy into actionable local priorities and OKRs, ensuring measurable business impact and value creation.
- Identify local initiatives and improvement opportunities with global relevance, increasing visibility and contributing to global decision-making.
- Serve as a key delivery partner in global finance projects, ensuring OU readiness, alignment, and active participation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with OU (Operating Unit) leadership to maintain governance routines, prioritize initiatives, and balance transformation with business continuity.
- Drive adoption of new ways of working and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Share best practices and lessons learned across regions and global finance communities.
Capabilities
- Embed capability priorities into OU development plans, learning pathways, and People initiatives and execution routines.
- Cascade a clear, consistent strategic narrative across OU.
- Drive adoption of priority capabilities within the OU, influencing beyond direct reporting lines.
- Ensure last-mile execution by translating strategy into tangible behaviors and outcomes.
- Assess behavior change and capability maturity, using insights to track progress and adjust actions based on metrics like participation rates and AI tools usage.
- Collaborate with OU HR Business Partners to anticipate future skills and shape training/development plans.
Change Management Communications & Adoption:
- Partner with the Center Communications and Change Management team to help amplify global comms and deliver tailored OU engagement plans.
- Drive adoption and integration of Center-led projects across the OU.
- Collaborate with the Center to help shape change strategies and amplify in the OUs.
- Drive user engagement for global initiatives by communicating benefits and local context.
- Represent the OU in global forums, contributing insights and feedback.
4. Governance, Risk & Compliance Fundamentals
- Ensure local policies are aligned with and updated according to Global policies, and communicated effectively across the OU.
- Investigate, advise on, and resolve compliance and policy issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Support audit readiness, execution of audits, and alignment and follow‑up of management action plans resulting from audit findings.
- Ensure transformation initiatives are implemented with strong governance, risk awareness, and control discipline.
Qualifications & Background:
- 10 years of experience in finance/change management roles
- Proven experience in finance capability development, large scale transformation, and process optimization.
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and internal control fundamentals.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a senior influencer, leading change across diverse, multicultural environments and without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with global teams and navigating complex matrix organizations.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution in ambiguous environments.
- Experience in digitalization, data, and AI enabled finance initiatives is a strong plus.
- Internal Audit, Control, or Compliance experience is a plus.
