Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Director of External Communications (North America Infrastructure) to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop, lead, and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy aligned with Parsons’ North American Infrastructure business objectives and growth priorities.
  • Provide strategic, holistic communications and marketing support to Parsons’ North American Infrastructure segment growth, including transportation, aviation, rail and transit, and other related markets.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, developing, executing, and maximizing the effectiveness of the corporation’s dynamic external communications and marketing programs that support strategic business priorities.
  • Partner with business development teams to support major pursuits and campaigns with tailored communications strategies.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key infrastructure, engineering, and industry media outlets.
  • Position Parsons’ North America Infrastructure executives and subject matter experts as thought leaders through media engagements, authored/owned content, and events.
  • Lead integrated communications campaigns that highlight Parsons’ solutions across Infrastructure markets.
  • Lead a team of communications professionals supporting the business unit.
  • Foster collaboration across Corporate Affairs and with business units to drive unified messaging and alignment.
  • Develop and track metrics to measure the success of external marketing and media relations efforts.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Highly collaborative, dynamic individual focused on partnership and delivering unified success for the entire team, not the individual.
  • 15+ years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, or public relations.
  • Experience working for large critical infrastructure companies or clients.
  • Ability to shape and lead geographically diverse teams with at least 8+ years of management experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and mitigating crisis communications efforts, including planning, response, and training.
  • Experience navigating complex organizations, while gaining trust and advising corporate leadership.
  • Ability to comprehend and explain complex capabilities and initiatives to audiences that have various levels of understanding.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Exquisite attention to detail, an eye for creativity, and willingness to challenge the status quo.

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
