The Director, Digital Procurement & AI Enablement is responsible for leading the digital transformation of the procurement function through advanced analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence. This role partners closely with Procurement, IT, Data & Analytics, Finance, and key business stakeholders to modernize sourcing, supplier management, contract lifecycle management, and source-to-pay processes.
The Director will be a key part of defining and executing the digital procurement roadmap, drive adoption of AI-enabled tools, and ensure measurable value creation through improved efficiency, cost optimization, risk management, and decision intelligence.
YOUR IMPACT
Digital Procurement Strategy & Leadership
Define and lead the digital procurement and AI enablement strategy, as part of our procurement excellence strategy, aligned with enterprise digital and supply chain transformation goals
Develop a multi-year roadmap for procurement platforms, analytics, automation, and AI use cases
Act as a thought leader on emerging procurement technologies, AI/ML applications, and best practices
Lead a procurement team focused on process development and improvement, ERP rollout and integrations, source to pay functionality roll out and training, and data governance and analytics
AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement
Identify, prioritize, and deploy AI-driven use cases and agents, such as:
Spend analytics and predictive insights
Demand forecasting and scenario modeling
Supplier risk monitoring and resilience analytics
Contract analytics and compliance monitoring
Intelligent sourcing recommendations
Partner with Data & Analytics teams to ensure data quality, governance, and scalable AI models
Ensure responsible, ethical, and compliant use of AI technologies
Procurement Technology & Platforms
Drive the business vision for core procurement systems (e.g., ERP, sourcing, CLM, supplier risk, P2P)
Lead selection, implementation, and optimization of digital procurement tools
Drive integration across ERP, finance, supply chain, and external data sources
Value Realization & Performance Management
Establish KPIs and value-tracking mechanisms for digital and AI initiatives
Quantify and communicate benefits related to cost savings, productivity, cycle time reduction, and risk mitigation
Continuously improve solutions based on performance data and user feedback
Change Management & Adoption
Lead change management, training, and adoption strategies across global procurement teams
Build digital and AI fluency within procurement through education and capability development
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior procurement and business leaders
Governance & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, and Compliance to ensure secure and compliant solutions
Establish governance for digital procurement tools, data usage, and AI lifecycle management
Collaborate with suppliers and external partners on digital innovation initiatives
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, digital transformation, or analytics roles
5+ years leading enterprise-scale digital or technology-enabled initiatives
Strong understanding of procurement processes (sourcing, supplier management, contracts, P2P)
Experience with AI/ML, advanced analytics, or automation in procurement or supply chain
Experience implementing or managing procurement platforms and analytics solutions
Demonstrated success driving change and adoption in complex organizations
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree (MBA or similar)
Familiarity with tools such as SAP/Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, or similar platforms
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or asset-intensive industries
Background working in global or matrixed organizations
WORKING CONDITIONS

This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings.
Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.
Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range:
$136,800.00 - $253,200.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
