What You’ll Be Doing

As the Director, Digital & AI Enablement Delivery, you will combine the responsibilities of a Product Owner and a Senior Project Manager. You will lead the execution and delivery of digital and AI initiatives across CIBC, driving both the product vision and the tactical execution of complex projects. This hybrid role requires strategic leadership to deliver product roadmaps, as well as project management expertise to ensure successful, timely, and compliant delivery of solutions that support CIBC’s transformation and growth objectives.

You will be accountable for Leading cross-functional teams in the development, delivery, and enhancement of digital and AI products. Overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to CIBC’s standards, policies, and risk management requirements. Acting as a bridge between business, technology, and vendor partners to align project execution with business strategy. Driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Strategy, Roadmap & Execution - Execute the vision and roadmap for digital and AI products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs. Lead teams in the design, implementation, and launch of new products, AI use cases, and platform enhancements. Oversee project planning, execution, control, and closure, emphasizing risk management, dependency management, and continuous improvement. Ensure all projects comply with CIBC’s governance, security, and operational standards.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management - Engage with business leaders, technology partners, and vendors to gather feedback, identify opportunities, and advocate for AI-driven solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, driving consensus and ensuring project and product goals are met. Integrate insights from business units into product and project planning to deliver solutions that address real business challenges.
  • Delivery & Performance Management - Manage and report on product and project performance, using data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement. Provide regular status updates and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Lead vendor evaluation and selection processes, ensuring solutions meet CIBC’s needs and standards.

Who You Are

  • You are an experienced professional. 10+ years in product management and/or project management roles, with demonstrated leadership in delivering digital and AI solutions in complex environments.

  • You have expertise in AI Tech - Deep understanding of AI technologies and their application in financial services. Skilled in business case development, risk assessment, and compliance.
  • You are a leader: Proven ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams, influence diverse stakeholders, and drive outcomes in a matrixed organization.
  • you have strong strategic thinking and analytical skills. You have the ability to synthesize complex information and present clear recommendations to executives.
  • You are digitally savvy: Passionate about technology trends and innovation, with a track record of adapting to evolving tools and methodologies.
  • You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline. PMP designation or equivalent experience is preferred.
