Marketing Services (MS), Mastercard’s marketing strategy and execution arm, delivers scalable, digital, and data-driven marketing solutions leveraging MarTech and unique data to accelerate campaign performance. Our vision: be the partner of choice for Issuers and Merchants through automated, lifecycle-driven campaigns and CRM capabilities that drive profitable customer engagement and Mastercard preference.
EEMEA seeks a Marketing Automation Solutions Lead with expertise in digital marketing, CRM, and campaign management. The ideal candidate understands card portfolio growth drivers and KPIs, and has experience with CRM automation tools, customer engagement platforms, and lifecycle campaign orchestration to deliver measurable results.
Role & Responsibilities
-Drive MS revenue by designing and implementing scalable, technology-enabled marketing solutions, including B2B2C product packages integrating D&S and MarTech capabilities.
-Define and deploy digital and CRM-driven go-to-market strategies for Spend -Optimization campaigns (activation, retention, e-commerce, cross-border, merchant partnerships).
-Support P&L management for EEMEA MS Spend Optimization, tracking KPIs (Revenue, Margin, Expenses).
-Contribute to product strategy, planning, budgeting, and rollout for campaigns/projects.
-Monitor issuer KPIs and recommend actions to improve portfolio performance.
-Collaborate with Product, Sales, and BD teams to develop data-driven lifecycle campaign strategies.
-Create pricing models for MS products/services, including pay-for-performance options.
-Develop automated lifecycle management strategies leveraging CRM, marketing automation, and personalization tools.
-Partner with technology providers for omnichannel campaign automation.
-Provide expertise on MarTech platforms (CRM, email marketing, campaign management).
-Build scalable, automated marketing solutions for issuers to drive portfolio growth.
-Conduct competitive analysis and share innovative solutions across digital marketing and CRM.
-Act as a trusted advisor on CRM and MarTech strategies.
-Suggest implementation approaches, timelines, and cost analyses for successful delivery.
Experience
-10+ years in marketing, product management, CRM, consulting, or digital transformation, ideally in financial services/payments.
-Proven success in designing and scaling CRM-driven lifecycle marketing programs (activation, engagement, retention, reactivation, e-commerce, cross-border).
-Strong product/solution management background; ability to translate business objectives into tech-enabled marketing solutions.
-Deep knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, personalization platforms; experience selecting and leveraging MarTech/AdTech partners.
-Solid understanding of MarTech, AdTech, mobile, and performance marketing ecosystems.
-Commercial acumen with P&L experience; ability to build pricing models and ROI frameworks.
-Skilled in cross-functional collaboration within complex, matrixed environments.
-Expertise in digital marketing channels, data-driven targeting, and customer journeys.
-Analytical mindset; experience tracking KPIs and driving optimization strategies.
-Consulting/advisory experience is a plus.
