Role overview

We are looking for a Director of Content Strategy and Campaigns to operationalize an established market narrative through content, thought leadership, and integrated campaigns. This role ensures our narrative shows up clearly, consistently, and effectively across owned media, executive thought leadership, and campaign moments.

You will translate an existing narrative into content systems and campaigns that create momentum in the market. You will manage an existing content team member and partner closely with brand, product marketing, demand, and executive leadership.

This is an hands-on role for someone who excels at turning strategy into action and making ideas land at scale.

Key responsibilities

  • Content strategy and editorial leadership
  • Own the content strategy and editorial roadmap aligned to the established market narrative
  • Translate core messaging into content themes, formats, and cadences across the year
  • Set standards for voice, tone, and storytelling consistency across channels

Thought leadership execution

  • Lead execution of thought leadership programs, including executive bylines, POV pieces, keynote narratives, and long-form content
  • Lead executive content for major moments, including keynote narratives and executive presentations, ensuring alignment with campaign and ongoing content efforts. 
  • Partner with executives to shape, refine, and deliver their perspectives within the existing narrative framework
  • Ensure thought leadership is relevant, timely, and aligned to campaign priorities

Campaign strategy and content activation

  • Own campaign content strategy and execution, ensuring campaigns are grounded in strong storytelling
  • Partner with brand and demand teams to activate campaigns through content across channels
  • Translate campaign strategies into cohesive content plans and assets
  • Ensure campaigns feel connected to the broader narrative rather than isolated moments

Owned media and content ecosystem

  • Own owned media channels including blog, social, newsletters, and other content destinations
  • Ensure owned media supports both long-term narrative consistency and short-term campaign goals
  • Guide social content to reinforce thought leadership, campaigns, and brand credibility

People leadership and collaboration

  • Manage and mentor at least 1 existing content team member
  • Act as a   content and campaign partner across marketing, communications, and leadership teams
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing, brand, creative, and comms

Measurement and impact

  • Define and track success metrics for content and campaign performance
  • Evaluate impact through engagement, adoption of messaging, campaign contribution, and sales enablement feedback
  • Continuously optimize content and campaign execution based on performance and business priorities

What we are looking for

  • 15+ years of total experience in content strategy, campaign marketing, or editorial roles within B2B SaaS or technology companies
  • 3-5 years of experience leading teams globally (APAC/EMEA a plus)
  • Proven experience executing content strategies and integrated campaigns
  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to elevate ideas into clear, compelling content
  • Experience supporting executive thought leadership
  • Comfort operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
  • Experience managing or mentoring content team members
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a sharp storytelling instinct

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling content and campaigns in a growing or changing organization
  • Background in editorial, journalism, or narrative brand storytelling
  • Experience working across cross-functional or global teams

This role ensures that an established market narrative consistently shows up in the world through content and campaigns that feel intentional, cohesive, and effective. Success looks like clarity in the market, stronger campaign performance, and content that people recognize and trust.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is listed below. In addition to base salary, your compensation package will include additional components such as equity and benefits. For sales roles, your package may also include sales commission

The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual skills, capabilities and experience, objectively assessed during the interview process. Base Salary Range (US)
$190,000$230,000 USD
