In this role, you will:
Kimberly-Clark is looking for an ambitious, self-driven, and talented individual to drive competitive landscape assessment, benchmarking, and strategic planning to identify opportunities for end-to-end value stream. Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Value Stream, the incumbent will also be responsible for the overall value stream strategic planning process, building global connected data/analytics to identify opportunities and inform value stream strategy. Seeking a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, collaborative mindset, deep analytical skills, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for driving results.
Role Accountabilities
Competitive Assessment and Benchmarking
- Establish process and routinely update competitive supply chain intelligence research on key parameters, competitor moves and overall value stream.
- Establish and govern enterprise competitive intelligence systems, including standardized methodologies, data architecture, and repeatable access to insights across global value streams.
- Understand drivers of success among competition, key value enablers and comparative metrics – connecting ABU segment/sector market & competitive landscape, drivers & opportunities to inform our strategies & priorities.
- Link external intelligence benchmarks to our internal value chain and performance metrics (products and process) to drive towards top quartile performance.
- Articulate the value proposition of our competitive strategy and influence resource allocation and investment decisions.
- Lead competitive cost benchmarking and war gaming exercises leveraging a broad suite of primary and secondary research sources
- Democratize competitive intelligence across broader cross-functional team members including the broader Supply Chain, Research & Development and Commercial teams
Value Stream Strategy
- Detail advantaged actions and initiatives that can set up value chain for cost efficiency, deliver target cost savings and drive consumer value.
- Translate business / enterprise strategy and objectives to value stream requirements.
- Coordinate with capital teams for sufficiency planning, and ensure strong capital efficiency (improve ROIC)
- Develop strong commercial partnership and deep understanding of customers, consumers, go to market for key categories and geographies
- Lead complex, cross‑functional enterprise SC strategy programs as assigned by CSCO & VP of Value Stream with full ownership from problem framing through ELT decision‑making, including scope definition, governance, cadence, and escalation.
Value Stream Optimization
- Champion and facilitate the connected strategy and framework development for Personal Care, Family Care, ECM and Professional including the associated mfg. technology process and Segment/ ABU connection with the Enterprise Value Chain
- Support & conduct value stream analysis, generate insights by collaborating & building global connected data & reports (business partner with DTS as an example)
- Enable value stream current state: strategic state analysis with connected data & analytics to inform step change performance end-to-end at the enterprise & segment levels by sector & platform.
- Build, coach, and scale a high‑performing competitive strategy capability, including talent development, role clarity, skill building, and succession planning across segments.

- Leadership: Experienced in establishing new functions and building high-performing teams that develop strong partnerships with stakeholders and encourage professional growth
- Executive Communication and Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and influence senior-level stakeholders. ELT and board level communications (storytelling and structuring) and interpersonal skills
- Written and Verbal Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint / deck-writing skills; capable of catering a message appropriately for a given audience
- Change Management: Capable of understanding organizational dynamics, individual incentives, and barriers to change to implement new ways of working in line with business priorities. Proven track record of driving successful change initiatives
- Structured Problem Solving: Brings structure to ambiguous problems and possesses the ability to frame key questions and develop a workplan to answer them.
- Analytical and Quantitative: Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to independently generate strategic insights.
- Financial Analyses: Ability to analyze P&L trends and diagnose issues, articulate financial impact of findings/recommendations to senior leadership
- Data Visualization: Strong technical acumen and proficiency in advanced PowerPoint data visualizations (e.g., Mekko charts) to succinctly highlight trends and key insights
- Business Judgment: Possesses insight and understanding in dealing with risks and opportunities in business that is likely to lead to favorable outcomes.
- Project Management: Ability to scope projects, manage teams, deliver results against set expectations, timelines, and budgets, etc.
- Consumer (CPG and Retail) Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of key competitive players, dynamics and trends, key industry analyses and metrics, etc.
- Agile and Versatile: Demonstrated track record of success working in a fast-paced setting

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an analytical discipline like Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in highly analytical roles, such as Corporate Strategy or Management Consulting
- End-to-end product experience (innovation/design through execution)
- Occasional global travel may be required to support projects as needed (up to 25%)
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA from top-tier business school
- Direct experience within CPGs or retailers in Competitive Strategy and Supply Chain Management
- 7+ years of consulting experience with top-tier strategy consulting firms (Bain, BCG, McKinsey, Kearney, Mars, etc.) - Principal or Senior Manager level
- Experience in working across developed markets (North America, Europe) and developing & emerging markets (Asia, Latin America, etc.)

Salary Range: 185,780 – 240,140 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
