At Sanofi, we chase the miracles of science to improve people's lives. As a global leader in healthcare innovation, we're transforming the practice of medicine through breakthrough science and cutting-edge experimentation that drives meaningful change for patients worldwide.

We're seeking a dynamic Director of Commercial Transformation who will focus initially on Experimentation Orchestration & Program Management on our Sanofi SPC Commercial Engagement Model (CEM) Program. The CEM program is a top leadership priority that will define Sanofi SPC’s future commercial model in light of changing external landscape and our upcoming launches.

The successful candidate will serve as the strategic connective tissue across ongoing experimentation initiatives and enable data-driven decision-making that will codify learnings and accelerate innovation at scale. You will synthesize complex insights, maintain program integrity, and help translate experiment outcomes into actionable business results that ultimately improve patient outcomes.

This is a critical leadership position where you'll partner with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to build our future operating model. If you're passionate about driving organizational transformation through disciplined program management and change leadership, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a lasting impact on how we innovate and deliver for patients.

About Sanofi:

We’re an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma company committed to improving people’s lives and delivering compelling growth. Our deep understanding of the immune system – and innovative pipeline – enables us to invent medicines and vaccines that treat and protect millions of people around the world. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives

Main Responsibilities:

Command Center & Decision Enablement

  • Serve as the central "source of truth" for experiment status, outcomes, and strategic insights across all initiatives

  • Function as "connective tissue" that collates and synthesizes inputs across CEM stakeholders including experiment leads, analytics teams, change management, and strategic partners

  • Active CEM stakeholder management to ensure engagement of the right stakeholders, at the right time

  • Develop executive-ready materials and presentations to support critical scale/no-scale decisions

  • Proactively identify and facilitate resolution of issues, tradeoffs, and escalations to senior leadership

Program Orchestration

  • Establish clear pathways for core teams by defining milestones, sprint cadences, and performance expectations while breaking down larger strategic objectives into achievable near-term goals

  • Own and maintain the integrated roadmap, sequencing, and dependency management across all experimentation initiatives

  • Drive rigorous tracking of progress, risks, and critical decision points across the entire experiment portfolio

  • Ensure disciplined execution of stage-gates, pre-mortems, and executive review processes

  • Facilitate the process of testing, learning and calibrating the team’s approach to delivering work

Change Management & Communications Orchestration

  • Collaborate on and provide strategic input into existing CEM change management strategies and frameworks

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (GTMC, L&D, P&C, etc.) to assess, develop, and disseminate content required for successful change management execution

  • Act as primary conduit to communicate program impacts, implications, and strategic direction to all stakeholders

  • Champion NA SPC AI upskilling goals and drive related capability-building initiatives

Enabling Team’s Ways of Working

  • Establish and reinforce consistent experiment standards, metrics, and governance frameworks across the organization

  • Collaborate with change management teams to embed new ways of working that drive sustainable transformation

  • Build organizational capabilities to ensure experimentation becomes repeatable, scalable, and self-sustaining

  • Lead the strategic transition of ownership from external partners to internal teams

  • Monitor overall team health and actively identify, assess and address issues when they arise

About You

Education & Experience:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree required; an MBA, Organizational Development, or related field strongly preferred

  • You bring 10-12+ years of progressive experience in program/portfolio management, strategy, transformation, or management consulting

  • You have experience leading enterprise-wide transformation or change initiatives

  • You ideally have a background in top-tier consulting (Big 4, MBB, or boutique strategy firms), internal strategy offices, transformation/PMO functions, or enterprise change management

What You'll Bring:

  • Exceptional program and portfolio management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously while maintaining strategic focus

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity with incomplete information—you thrive in dynamic environments and can navigate uncertainty with confidence

  • Outstanding executive communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making

  • Strategic mindset balanced with operational rigor and execution excellence—you can think big picture while ensuring flawless delivery

  • Experience with test-and-learn methodologies, analytics-driven decision-making, and agile ways of working

  • Proven ability to influence without authority across highly matrixed organizations, building consensus and driving alignment

  • Track record of enabling accountability and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups including brand teams, analytics teams, technology partners, and change management functions

  • Background leading or deeply collaborating on change and communications efforts in large, complex organizations

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making and risk management

  • Passion for building organizational capabilities and developing talent

Preferred Qualifications:
