What you’ll achieve

You will lead of a growing team of technical subject matter experts who are passionate about driving technology incubations enhancing the customer experience. In this role you are part of a global interdisciplinary design and technology organization where you will be collaborating with teammates, product engineering, marketing, corporate sustainability and other critical stakeholders.  We are looking for a candidate with a passion for technology, an open mind, and a desire to continuously learn new things.  The primary focus of this role is to develop data driven strategies and decision making guiding our technology roadmaps.  Come help us make a difference driving solutions which enhancing the design of our products, the possibilities are endless.

You will:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop CMF engineering organization who are responsible for overseeing platform execution
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key external technology suppliers
  • Partner with engineering, design, and operations teams to resolve technical risks, yield issues, and supplier challenges.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, innovation, and continuous learning​

Essential Requirements

  • 10+ years CMF working experience on notebook/PC/laptop/computer product
  • Fluent English skill, co-work with global team.
  • Knowledgeable in coating technology, material technology or anodizing process.
  • Background partnering with suppliers to resolve technical barriers and identifying those barriers. Able to tackle complex problems and work through the solutions.
  • Ability to work in and be successful in highly matrixed organization structures to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to drive engineering rigor and best practices within the team
  • Successfully able excel in environments with ambiguity.
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Manufacturing Engineering or Chemistry


Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with DELL's product development cycle with a passion to bring new technologies from idea to reality.
  • Experience with typical finishes used for electronics: Paint, Anodizing, etc
  • Experience working in electronics supply chain in an ODM model.
