Job Description Summary:
The vision of Enterprise Services is to deliver services that are simpler, better, and faster. The Director, Business Operations is a senior leader within the Enterprise Services (“ES”) Strategy & Operations team, accountable for delivering a defined portfolio, domain, or capability area and ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery of priority products and solutions.
This role leads key initiatives and translating Enterprise Services strategy into actionable priorities and ensuring initiatives are delivered responsibly, adopted effectively, and scaled sustainably. The Director partners closely with Enterprise Services leaders, the Digital Organization, and functional stakeholders to align execution, resolve complex challenges, and deliver measurable outcomes.
The role is focused across three core areas:
35% – Product planning, prioritization, and alignment
45% – Oversight of delivery, performance, and optimization
20% – Project leadership and stakeholder partnership
Key Responsibilities
Lead Portfolio Planning and Alignment
Lead planning and prioritization for the defined portfolio, domain, or capability area, aligning Enterprise Services priorities with business needs and technology capacity.
Apply and adapt enterprise planning frameworks, standards, and governance models to ensure effective execution within scope.
Make prioritization and trade‑off decisions across initiatives, balancing value, risk, capacity, and delivery constraints.
Provide clear recommendations and insights to senior stakeholders on progress, and delivery implications.
Oversee Delivery and Scaled Execution
Provide oversight and accountability for delivery of high‑priority products and solutions within assigned scope.
Partner with senior business and digital leaders to address complex, cross‑functional delivery challenges and emerging needs.
Ensure disciplined execution across initiatives, proactively managing dependencies, risks, adoption challenges, and change impacts.
Monitor performance, adoption, and value realization; drive optimization efforts and improvements to sustain outcomes over time.
Leadership and Stakeholder Influence
Lead critical initiatives fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Build strong working relationships across Enterprise Services, Digital, and functional teams to align stakeholders around shared priorities and outcomes.
Represent the portfolio or domain in leadership forums, governance reviews, and cross‑functional planning discussions.
Model a strong enterprise mindset while focusing on delivering results within defined scope and accountability.
Education Requirements
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
Preferred: Master’s degree or advanced education in business, analytics, product management, or technology leadership
Qualifications & Requirements
7+ years of progressive experience in business operations, technology delivery, digital transformation, consulting, or related roles
Proven experience leading multiple initiatives or a portfolio within a complex, matrixed organization
Demonstrated ability to make prioritization and delivery decisions within area of responsibility
Strong execution and delivery leadership skills, with a track record of achieving measurable outcomes
Experience partnering closely with Digital teams to deliver and scale solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders
Experience leading and developing managers and senior professionals
Comfort operating in dynamic, ambiguous environments while maintaining delivery discipline
Strong collaborative and outcome‑oriented leadership style

Skills:
Pay Range:
United States of America: $170,000 - $200,000Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
