As Director of New Business Development, you will be at the forefront of creating and scaling innovative revenue streams that redefine our industry footprint. This is a high-impact role for a strategic builder who thrives on turning ideas into market-leading businesses.
What You’ll Do
- Create New Businesses: Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities aligned with World Kinect’s growth strategy. Build business cases, financial models, and lead the full lifecycle—from concept validation to commercialization and scale.
- Drive Market Entry: Define go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and partnership frameworks that accelerate adoption and deliver competitive advantage.
- Forge Strategic Partnerships: Develop alliances with industry leaders, technology innovators, and investment partners to unlock new growth channels.
- Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless delivery of new ventures. Influence senior stakeholders and secure buy-in for strategic investments.
What You Bring
- Proven Leadership: 10+ years in business development, innovation, or commercial leadership roles, with a track record of launching and scaling new businesses or products.
- Industry Expertise: Experience in energy, transportation, logistics, or adjacent sectors.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong P&L ownership and ability to build sustainable revenue models.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
