The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Director – Building Consultancy to lead our NSW offering within the Project & Development Services (PDS) team. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving client growth, delivering high-quality technical advisory services, and shaping the future of our Building Consultancy business in the region.

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and grow the Building Consultancy team across NSW

• Develop and execute state-based sales and client strategies

• Deliver technical advice on building condition, compliance, risk, and performance

• Oversee building inspections, audits, and lifecycle planning

• Manage end-to-end project delivery (repairs, upgrades, capital works)

• Build and maintain strong client relationships across sectors

• Drive team performance, governance, and quality outcomes

• Collaborate with internal service lines to maximize opportunities

About You

• 15+ years’ experience in property, construction, or building consultancy

• Proven leadership experience with strong commercial acumen

• Background in building surveying, engineering, quantity surveying, or similar

• Industry accreditation (e.g. RICS, AIQS, CIBSE, EA, AIPM or equivalent)

• Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills

• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects and drive business growth
