PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Director of Biddable Media is responsible for leading strategy, execution and performance across the assigned brands within the portfolio. This ensures strategic and operational excellence of channel knowledge is maintained and pursued throughout the team.
This role will work cross-functionally across all 4 channels, driving growth in Inspire capabilities leading to meaningful performance improvements to drive the bottom line. The role defines the vision & channel roadmap for each channel, to be executed on by the Sr. Manager & their direct reports. The role works in partnership with the Sr.Director, to develop & drive commitment to performance improvement through target setting & quarterly business reviews at the channel level to diagnose performance & review progress against the roadmap & identify new requirements on an ongoing basis.
The Director drives relationship growth with IMC teams, Audience Planning, Media Strategy and Planning & creative agencies, helping to drvie the best 360 tactical plans and continuously to drive weekly incremental refresh & performance gains.
The Director, managing two or three Sr. Managers, drives the education program to ensure we cultivate a pipeline of qualified Biddable team members. Director will focus on bringing Biddable into the next generation of technology advancement through AI adoption wherever possible and increasing workflow efficiency with jr. level team members. They will be tasked with trying to find incremental net savings where possible throughout media.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Channel Leadership & oversight
Responsible & accountable for all search, social, programmatic and 3PD strategy & tactics, managed via Inpsire’s Biddable Media team under respective brands.
Support the Sr.Director in partnerships (JBP’s), and works with Sr. Manager to ensure spend is tracking towards goals. Intervenes when appropriate to correct partnership pacing, manages vendor relationships.
Ensure Manager/Associate Manager growth framework for daily channel optimizations and practice is maintained to ensure highest media hygiene.
Continue to drive and maintain best practices for digital media with Sr. Managers, ensuring we are leveraging first to market approaches, testing alpha opportunities and becoming a leader in the space.
Conduct regular performance reviews, feedback sessions and career development planning architecture sessions to ensure results from employee survey are being heard.
Oversees several Sr. Managers at the brand level, ensuring they are delivering exceptional service to MS&P & Brand, and collaborating with agency of record
Oversees maintenance of Brand Safety Toolkit within programmatic, search and social.
Drives innovation across the portfolio, & inspires the team to create a culture of experimentation
Work with your team to ensure billing and budget pacing is handled accurately and on time
Develop cross team sharing framework to ensure we are learning from one another as a team vs operating in silo.
In partnership with Sr.Director, work to become more integrated with AI opportunities within operations to ensure the Biddable team is maximizing efficiencies.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
Required Minimum: Bachelor’s degree
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
8+ years of hands-on experience in Search & Social including Google, PMAX, Bing, Apple Ads, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest
8+ years working in media buying either on the agency side or the client side
8+ year of programmatic buying within DSP’s or direct to publisher
Experience managing mid-size media teams
Demonstrated experience in channel leadership, internal team leadership, agency leadership
Demonstrated experience in problem solving and managing multiple tasks

Excellent team management skills (proficiency in Excel/PPT/SharePoint will be key)
