Assist the Head of Japan (or designee) in developing and executing: - Asset management strategies to achieve business and financial performance goals. - Value creation initiatives, including asset optimization and profit growth (both organic and inorganic).
Collaborate with the investment team to: - Formulate and manage post-acquisition integration plans. - Develop long-term asset strategies, including potential exit options.
Provide input to project cash flow and fund life-cycle models, and work closely with investment, reporting, and finance teams.
Manage all commercial, legal, and financial matters related to the assets, in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management of portfolio companies, property managers, design and construction firms, lenders, and tenants.
Guide, mentor, and develop junior team members.
Support other business analysis and reporting as required.
Assist with other Keppel initiatives as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Relevant Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of relevant real estate experience, preferably in the office sector, and ideally in asset or property management. At least 3 years in a managerial role.
Bilingual in Japanese and English (spoken and written).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and motivate.
Highly analytical and numerate, with strong financial modeling skills in Excel.
Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and under pressure.
Able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
Creative thinker with a proactive mindset and a solutions-oriented approach.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
