Your day at NTT DATA
The Director, Division is a leadership role, responsible for leading a small to medium size will business unit or division, driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence while ensuring alignment with the overall vision set by senior leadership.
This role requires a strong focus on leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture, focused on achieving operational excellence.
Key responsibilities:- Develops and executes comprehensive strategies that align with the division’s goals.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to define objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive success.
- Leads, mentors, and develops a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Monitors and analyzes operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Implements best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the division.
- May contribute towards overseeing the division’s budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and adherence to financial targets. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Partners with other divisions and departments to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and operational goals. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams.
- Leads key projects and initiatives within the division, ensuring timely execution and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Utilizes project management methodologies to track progress and outcomes.
- Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the division in leadership meetings and discussions.

- Significant experience in leading organizational change initiatives and adapting strategies in response to evolving market conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and collaboration across departments.
Academic qualifications and certification:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business-related field or equivalent.
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) degree and other relevant certifications are advantageous.
Required experience:- Significant experience within the field in which the company operates.
- Significant experience in the practices, policies, and procedures of their chosen field.
- Significant experience working in a related division within a corporate environment.
- Significant experience leading a division and managing a team of senior managers in the execution of strategic initiatives.
- Significant experience as a leader with excellent people skills and work ethic.
