What you’ll be doing
CIBC's Enterprise AI Platforms & Solutions team drives the strategic adoption of artificial intelligence across the bank, enabling business transformation and innovation. As the Director, AI Enablement, you'll define and execute the product strategy for AI applications that directly support our Finance partners. You'll serve as the primary bridge between Finance stakeholders and the Enterprise AI Platforms and Solutions team, guiding AI strategy, developing high-impact use cases, and enhancing platforms tailored to Finance priorities. You'll lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI initiatives that align with the bank's growth objectives and enhance client experience. Working in close collaboration with technology teams, Finance partner teams, and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure the successful delivery and adoption of AI products and solutions. This role reports to the Senior Director, AI Enablement, with direct product ownership responsibility for platform functions supporting the Finance partnership.

How you'll succeed
Drive Product Strategy & Execution – Lead the development and execution of product strategy for AI applications in partnership with Finance, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and client experience.
Champion Strategic Collaboration – Build strong relationships with Finance and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, high-impact AI solutions.
Develop and Deliver AI Use Cases – Identify, prioritize, and deliver AI use cases that address Finance needs and drive measurable business value.
Monitor Performance & Ensure Compliance – Evaluate AI application performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and make data-driven enhancements to maximize effectiveness.
Foster Innovation & Best Practices – Promote a culture of continuous improvement, staying current on AI trends and guiding adoption of emerging technologies.
Who you are
You bring senior leadership combined with AI expertise within financial services. You have a proven track record of shaping vision, strategy, and direction for AI initiatives at the executive level. Your deep understanding of AI technologies and their application within Finance functions has enabled you to drive impactful transformation across the financial services industry.
You hold a master’s degree and relevant certifications. You have completed a master’s degree in a Finance or related field, along with certifications in AI or data science that support your expertise.
You're an experienced product leader. You have a proven track record in product management, with the ability to lead products from conception to launch and deliver measurable business value.
You're a compelling communicator and influencer. You have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups and build trusted partnerships at all levels.
You think strategically and deliver results. You bring a results-oriented mindset focused on delivering high-quality products that meet client needs, while balancing long-term vision with near-term priorities.
You thrive in complex environments. You can navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities effectively, and maintain momentum across competing demands.
