What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Director, Design & Change, Enterprise Agility, the Director, Agile Enablers and Performance Systems is a key member of the Enterprise Capabilities & Organizational Agility team, responsible to drive the adoption of the end-to-end (E2E) operating model design and deployment across CIBC. The Director, is responsible for designing, engineering, and embedding finance, prioritization, and performance processes aligned to the E2E operating model.

How you’ll succeed

  • Design and Performance - Design the end-to-end performance management architecture linking enterprise strategy to Domain, Crew, and Squad OKRs.  Establish structured performance cadences (e.g., QBR, monthly reviews, portfolio checkpoints) aligned to operating model rhythms.  Define governance standards for OKR quality, outcome measurement, and progress tracking.  Support embedding tooling to facilitate transparent management of OKRs and progress against strategic objectives.  Incubate and refine performance processes to ensure clarity, simplicity, and minimal administrative overhead
  • Leadership - Drive implementation and embedment of redesigned performance and finance processes across Domains.  Develop playbooks, guardrails, and implementation guidance to support consistent adoption.  Coach Domain Leads, Crew Leads, and Finance partners on new funding and performance practices.  Identify friction points in governance, prioritization, or funding processes and continuously refine the model.  Ensure processes are scalable, pragmatic, and aligned to agile principles
  • Relationship Management - Act as a trusted advisor to leaders/teams on change and communications practices. Gather feedback and sentiment to continuously refine strategies and improve outcomes. The incumbent will work closely with CIBC Business, Functional and CIBC Leaders to develop requirements and ensure the successful execution of the Agile training and communication program. Executive leadership across CIBC for purposes of understanding business strategies and learning needs for process changes. Collaborate on projects and subject matter expertise on all matters related to Agile training and communication.
