The North America Digital Payments team brings ecosystem partners together to deliver consumers greater security, choice, and peace of mind through the best payment products in the market. We are a passionate team of experts driving innovation at scale.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director, Agentic Commerce Product Management, to lead the rollout of Mastercard’s Agentic Commerce Solutions in North America. This leader will influence every stage of the product lifecycle—from ideation and design through full-scale commercialization. Success in this role means creating compelling consumer payment experiences while driving adoption of Mastercard’s products and services with issuers, merchants, agents, and ecosystem partners.

The ideal candidate is an innovative product leader with deep payments expertise, fluency in AI and agentic commerce, and a proven track record of bringing digital payment products to market at scale.

Responsibilities
• Define and shape the future of agentic commerce while strengthening Mastercard’s leadership position.
• Lead end-to-end product management, with a strong focus on commercialization.
• Serve as the Voice of the Customer, ensuring market insights inform product design, prioritization, and roadmaps.
• Partner with Global Product teams to build Mastercard’s agentic commerce capabilities.
• Develop clear partner-facing value propositions and narratives, supported by sales enablement materials.
• Track and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for Mastercard to expand its reach in agentic flows and use cases
• Conduct market landscape analysis to uncover and prioritize new customer segments (e.g., agents, merchants, PSPs).
• Collaborate across the organization to define and execute Mastercard’s Agentic Commerce product roadmaps.

About You
• Deep knowledge of AI, agentic commerce, and the consumer payments ecosystem, with a strong understanding of payment tokenization, authentication, and digital wallets.
• Strong product management expertise with a proven ability to execute highly complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• A blend of analytical and strategic thinking, paired with strong emotional intelligence.
• Skilled communicator, comfortable engaging with executive leadership and external partners, with the ability to lead strategic conversations across all levels.
• Effective collaborator who can influence product development priorities and foster trust across cross-functional teams.
• Operates with urgency, resilience, and ownership—driving problems to resolution.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. New York City, New York: $187,000 - $318,000 USD
