Key Accountabilities
1. Agency Compensation Strategy & Design
- Lead the design and ongoing enhancement of Group Agency compensation frameworks, ensuring alignment with:
- Growth, productivity, quality recruitment, and persistency objectives
- Sustainable cost of acquisition and profitability targets
- Translate Group strategy into clear compensation principles that can be applied consistently across markets.
2. Agency Proposition Development
- Drive the development of a holistic agency proposition covering:
- Financial rewards
- Career pathways and leadership progression
- Recognition and non-financial incentives
- Tools, support, and enablement elements
- Ensure the proposition remains competitive and compelling across different agency segments.
3. Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Establish and maintain strong governance over agency compensation and proposition changes.
- Partner with Group Finance, Group Risk, and Legal to ensure proposals are:
- Financially sound
- Risk-appropriate
- Compliant with regulatory and internal policy requirements
- Support governance committees with clear analysis, recommendations, and decision papers.
4. Market & LBU Partnership
- Act as a trusted partner to LBUs on compensation and proposition matters.
- Provide guidance and challenge to local proposals, ensuring alignment with Group principles while respecting market realities.
- Support LBUs in managing complex change initiatives related to compensation redesigns.
5. Performance & Outcome Monitoring
- Define success metrics for agency compensation and proposition effectiveness.
- Monitor outcomes such as productivity, recruitment quality, retention, and cost efficiency.
- Use data and insights to recommend continuous improvements.
6. Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Engage senior/accounts and influence senior stakeholders across Group and markets.
- Clearly articulate the rationale, trade-offs, and expected outcomes of compensation and proposition decisions.
- Support change communication to ensure understanding and adoption.
7. Thought Leadership
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor practices, and emerging agency models.
- Bring external insights to inform forward-looking proposition and compensation strategies.
