Job Overview:
As an Account Management Director for Financial Institutions at Mastercard, you'll be at the forefront of defining and executing our strategic agenda with the customer. You'll lead the charge in developing and maintaining an exceptional relationship while driving revenue growth and customer profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: You will be directly responsible for shaping Mastercard's strategic and tactical direction with the customer, ensuring our mutual goals are met through cross-functional collaboration.

P&L Management: You'll own the customer's P&L, seizing every opportunity to promote Mastercard's products and services, all while implementing the divisional and country strategy.

Innovation: Lead the customer in new product innovations, identifying and implementing features and benefits in close collaboration with our internal teams.

Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships between Mastercard and the customer across all operational functions. You'll be the expert on their organizational dynamics.

Business Solutions: Develop and implement solutions that enhance revenue generation and mutual profitability, differentiating Mastercard from the competition.

Operational Excellence: Take charge of administrative and operational issues, including planning and budget/expense management.

Business Development: Go beyond account leadership and contribute to Mastercard's overall business development in the Northern Europe.

Qualifications:
Sales and Account Management Skills: Extensive experience in sales and key account management.

Communication: Outstanding influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, especially with senior management.

Team Player: Strong team player with the ability to build relationships.

Proactive: A self-starter who can identify issues before they become problems and proactively resolve them.

Multi-disciplinary Knowledge: Demonstrated multi-disciplinary knowledge, including marketing, operations, risk, debit, acquiring, and emerging technologies.

Business Acumen: Proven ability to develop and successfully implement quantifiable business plans.

Market Knowledge: Good understanding of the Swedish and Nordic payments market and emerging payment innovations.

Education: Bachelor's degree or sales experience within a B2B environment is essential.

Language Skills: Fluent in Swedish and English; knowledge of other Nordic languages is a plus.
