Play a key role in delivering a seamless lending experience by managing loan documentation, coordinating closings, and ensuring clear titles. Collaborate with industry professionals and leverage your attention to detail to keep systems accurate and processes efficient!

This job is primarily responsible for coordinating all aspects of finalizing the loan closing process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, communication with internal staff, Investors, Title Agents/Attorneys and others to facilitate all closing issues in a timely manner, consistent with company-defined standards. Additionally, this job will maintain loan files and documentation in the customer relationship management system.

In this job, you will:

  • Gather, review, prepare and submit relevant loan information and documentation in order to maintain up-to-date loan files and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Coordinate the loan closing process with Regional Sales Officers (RSO), Underwriters, Investors, Title Agents/Attorney Offices, and other involved parties.
  • Order and review title commitments, real estate title documents, Uniform Commercial Code filings, fixture filings, and other related documents to clear unsatisfactory title exceptions and verify the collateral lien position.
  • Obtain Evidence of Insurance and verify adequate coverage of structures.
  • Prepare closing documents.
  • Collaborate with Title Agents/Attorneys, AgFi Management, and AgFi Counsel to clear any issues and obtain clear Title prior to funding.
  • Work within appropriate systems and with staff to ensure closing documents are prepared timely and according to approved closing instruction letters, approval letters, and commitment letters.
  • Perform quality control audits of final loan document delivery to Investor and Post Closing Loan Coordinator.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Here’s what you’ll need to be considered:

Education

Required – High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent training and work experience.

Preferred – Associates Degree in business related field.

Experience

Required – 1 year’ experience in loan processing and/or loan closing or a related field. Experience or exposure with legal documents, title work, and agriculture a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of loan closing and loan delivery.
  • Knowledge of whole loan and portfolio due diligence.
  • Knowledge of mortgage laws, regulations, principles, policies, and procedures regarding commercial lending.
  • Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook), role specific software programs (Laser Pro), or ability to learn.
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization.
  • Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand basic knowledge of investor guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Ability to consistently exhibit qualities consistent with company philosophies to insure exemplary levels of service to all parties.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.

Physical Demands & Requirements

Sedentary work.  Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside where there are limited extremes to heat and/or cold; moderate noise; a normal office environment.

The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment.

Travel may be required for meetings and trainings.

The expected base pay range for this role is:

$22.08 - $28.08

Actual pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including work location, job-related knowledge, skills and relevant experience for the job. Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular period of time.
