DuPont Water Solutions (DWS) is a $1.4 Bn water technology leader, focused on solving global challenges in water purification, conservation and reuse. DWS serves its thousands of customers in diverse industries through four major market segments i.e. Oil & Gas, Industrial, Municipal, Mining and Specialty using multiple technologies from its portfolio across major geographies of the world. As industrial growth is correlated to water scarcity and thus filtration needs, Asia, EMEA and Americas account for 55%, 25% and 20% of the global revenues respectively

The Direct Key Account Consultant defines the management of each account, application of strategies and definition of proposed value for each opportunity. Works as a business developer for all technologies in our portfolio account supports customer needs and work in parallel with the technical area by providing technical knowledge on the application, handling and management of DuPont Water Solutions products. This role also helps catalyze the development of new products when emerging application requirements provide opportunities for innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account management – Responsible for all actions defined for the established accounts and opportunities.
  • Monitor technical interactions, priorities and value proposition from strategic accounts.
  • Responsible for each negotiation observing and respecting volumes & margins always in the process win-win.
  • Main representative of DuPont's values with the customer (DuPont's spokesperson and values). Main responsible with customers on behalf of DuPont;
  • Responsible for translating orders/contracts and negotiations with each customer with DuPont's internal support areas (customer service, credit, supply, logistics... etc.) avoiding rework and misinterpretation.
  • Responsible for keeping the tools used by DuPont such as Sales Force, Forecast and other tools updated with projects, leads and call reports for each managed account.
  • Work with Marketing to define Dashboards and strategies for Markets and Accounts;
  • Present to leadership team the KPIs and metrics defined for the year and monthly follow-up of sales numbers, details required in opportunities meetings.
  • Responsible for bringing market feedback with marketing, pricing, product and technical managers.
  • Be aware of all the technologies to develop new business opportunities and customer insights/trends.
  • Routine visits to customers to generate business and innovation opportunities.
  • Having relationships with engineering companies in Mexico and having knowledge of industrial and municipal water reuse processes (technologies used for water reuse) – desirable;
  • Geographic scope: Mexico.

Main requirements:

  • Relevant experience in specialty sales (not commodity), technologies:

-Ion Exchange - IER

-Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration – RO/NF

-Ultrafiltration - UF

-Membrane Bioreactors - MBR

-Closed Circuit RO - CCRO

  • Engineering, Administration or related areas with experience in sales
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel – Power BI
  • Salesforce CRM (desirable)
  • Fluent English
  • Fluent Spanish
  • Location: Mexico City, Mexico
  • Travel availability: up to 80% of time
