Job Description
We are seeking a transformative digital product line leader to evolve our global digital commercial solutions and content enablement capabilities. As a key member of the Animal Health Commercial IT Leadership Team, you will be accountable for transforming how we enable digital customer engagement across the globe and for defining and advancing a modern product model for digital commercial solutions and technologies.
You will own and enhance a portfolio of global solutions including mobile messaging, web (WordPress VIP), mobile applications, social media, content management platforms (Veeva PromoMats), and AI-enabled solutions. Building on this digital backbone and leading a team of experienced IT professionals, you will evolve the tech stack to drive change, efficiency, and effectiveness in how we engage customers, enabling markets to accelerate revenue growth, deepen customer engagement, and improve operational excellence through scalable, global digital products.
In partnership with digital leaders globally, you will work closely with regional and market stakeholders to shape strategy, drive adoption, and deliver measurable impact. You will forge strong partnerships with Commercial and IT stakeholders to co-create and drive a unified digital vision, leveraging other divisional IT organizations and global service providers to deliver faster, higher-quality solutions, while modernizing and centralizing platforms, processes, and capabilities and optimizing total cost of ownership for Animal Health solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Achievements
Product Management & Portfolio Ownership
Create and manage a global product portfolio for digital commercial solutions, with clear ownership, KPIs, and value realization metrics.
Implement standardized product management practices, including discovery, backlog management, release planning, and benefit tracking.
Ensure solutions are designed with scalability, reusability, and interoperability in mind, leveraging global platforms wherever possible.
Content Enablement & Digital Experience
Oversee the strategy and capabilities for digital content enablement, including content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM), AI-enabled products, and content workflows/governance.
Enable efficient creation, localization, distribution, and reuse of content across channels (web, email, social, portals, in-clinic tools, etc.).
Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams to align content capabilities with omnichannel customer journeys and brand strategies.
Ensure measurement frameworks and analytics are in place to understand content performance, user engagement, and ROI.
Technology, Architecture & TCO Optimization
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure teams to define and maintain a modern, scalable digital architecture that supports global and local needs.
Drive consolidation and standardization of platforms and tools to reduce redundancy, minimize integration complexity, and optimize TCO.
Evaluate vendor solutions, negotiate contracts, and manage strategic technology partnerships in collaboration with Procurement and IT leadership.
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
Act as a trusted partner to senior Commercial and Marketing leaders, understanding their strategies and translating them into digital capabilities and roadmaps.
Work closely with regional and country teams to balance global standards with local market requirements.
Lead cross-functional governance forums to align priorities, manage demand, and make transparent investment decisions.
Communicate strategy, roadmap, and progress to executive stakeholders and business partners.
Team Leadership & People Development
Build and lead a high-performing, global team of product managers, solution owners, and digital specialists.
Foster a culture of customer-centricity, accountability, continuous learning, and data-driven decision making.
Mentor and develop talent, establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and career paths within the digital product organization.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related field required.
Experience
10+ years of experience in digital, technology, or product management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Proven track record leading digital platforms and solutions in a global, matrixed organization, preferably within life sciences, animal health, healthcare, or related industries.
Demonstrated experience implementing and managing enterprise digital ecosystems (e.g., CMS, DAM, marketing automation, CRM, customer/partner portals, field enablement tools).
Strong background in product management methodologies (Agile, Lean, product discovery) and operating product teams.
Experience driving technology consolidation and standardization to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), as well as proven competence in managing financial budgets.
Proven success managing complex stakeholder landscapes and influencing senior leaders.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is
$173,200.00 - $272,600.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
