Provides strategic leadership and overall direction for Engineering Career Services, including employer relations, recruiting functions, and comprehensive career development and job search services for undergraduate and graduate engineering students pursuing cooperative education, internships, and post-graduate employment opportunities.
Responsibilities include leading corporate engagement initiatives; developing and executing strategic plans; overseeing student career development and job search support services; and managing employer relations and recruitment programs. The role is also responsible for financial and administrative management, program development, marketing and outreach efforts, and the effective use of technology systems. Additionally, the position oversees the collection and analysis of outcomes data to inform decision-making and ensure program effectiveness, while contributing to professional leadership within the institution and broader career services community.
Required Qualifications
Required:. Master’s degree in higher education administration, student development, career development, human resources, or related field; or equivalent education and experience. 10 years of strong communication skills, experience in career coaching, employer relations, student development, and program management required. Considerable knowledge of education administration and principles. Knowledge of career advising, and corporate recruiting practices. Extensive experience as a supervisor in a college-level career services office with high levels of employer recruiting activity, or comparable experience in college recruiting or career development. Considerable experience in program planning and administration and budgeting.
Desired:
A minimum of 15 years of experience in career coaching, employer relations, student development, and program management preferred. Experience with career management software, such as Handshake. Record of active participation in regional or national professional associations.

Hiring Range: $120,000 - $156,800
The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
