Digitalization Engineer (Maternity Cover)

Responsibilities / Tasks

Support the digital transformation of business processes, contributing to the implementation of innovative digital solutions that improve efficiency, quality, traceability, and decision-making. The role acts as a bridge between Technical, IT, and Business areas.

As a member of the Technical Software Tools team, the candidate will be placed within GEA’s Engineering Department and will be required to:

  • Analyze and map existing business processes (engineering, production, quality, maintenance, supply chain).
  • Collect functional and technical requirements for digital solutions.
  • Support data management or process improvement activities and user training.
  • Monitor the performance of digital solutions currently in use and propose continuous improvements.
  • Create, maintain, or modify Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Participate in weekly team activities.
  • Ensure alignment with quality, safety, and cyber-security standards.

  • Several Power Apps interfaces
  • SAP Material Master
  • Siemens PLM system and its Material Master
  • SQL Server database
  • Microsoft Access / Excel databases
  • TESEO – Traceability system
  • Several Microsoft Power App applications

Your Profile / Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of industrial processes and data flows.
  • Good knowledge of databases, data analytics concepts, and data visualization. Ability to read and understand a relational database and logic behind.
  • Familiarity with scripting or configuration languages (e.g. SQL, Python – preferred).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform Tools in particular Power BI and Power BI Report Builder (PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, etc.)
  • Knowledge in Agents generation with MS 365 Copilot and any related previous working experience will be considered as a plus.
  • English: B1/B2 (written and spoken)
