As a Digital Workplace Automation Engineer based in Mumbai, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that enhance digital workplace efficiency, streamline operations, and improve user experience.
Essential Job Functions:
- Automation Solution Design
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation within digital workplace environments
- Design and develop automation workflows using tools such as PowerShell, Power Automate, and other scripting platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical automation solutions
- Implementation & Integration
- Deploy and integrate automation solutions across platforms like Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and other collaboration tools
- Ensure seamless integration of automation with existing systems and processes
- Maintain and update automation scripts and tools as business needs evolve
- Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide third line support for automation-related issues and escalations
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for automation failures
- Document solutions, fixes, and technical procedures for knowledge sharing
- Continuous Improvement
- Monitor automation performance and proactively identify areas for optimization
- Stay up to date with emerging automation technologies and recommend enhancements
- Contribute to the development of digital workplace automation strategy and roadmap
- Security & Compliance
- Ensure automation solutions comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements
- Implement and maintain security controls within automation workflows
- Collaboration & Training
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Deliver training and documentation to end-users and support teams on automation solutions
- Automation experience
- Experience implementing automation solutions using DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing in digital workplace environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automation solutions in digital workplace environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and related technologies
- Expertise in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Power Automate, Python, API Management)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Understanding of security, compliance, and governance in digital environments
